All the nostalgia
I was so excited to see this since it brought back all the old school nostalgia of growing up! I appreciate how much faster set up is today though...and wireless controller! I'm sold. The variety of games also gives me plenty of entertainment so I never get bored. This is the perfect gift for someone who already has it all because it makes them feel nostalgic which many gifts don't do. The games are also fun enough and easy to understand so young kids will also love it and play with it. I am writing this review as a part of a contest.... Show more

AtGames Finally Produces A Winner!
This AtGames plug-and-play console is a great deal--especially if you can find it for less than the MSRP! This system provides GREAT emulation, plenty of games (of varying quality, but with 50 titles you will find a handful to make it worth the purchase), and good controllers. There are also ways to update the system firmware to make is play other games, but we haven't done this and can't speak to it. However a web or online video search will let you know how this is done and if you'd like to proceed. Honestly, for the price we paid ($15.00) it's hard to have any negative feelings. The game selection's a bit weird, but there's some great stuff here, and the emulation quality is pretty good--it took them 9 years or so, but AtGames produced a quality product!... Show more

Doesn't work
The product does not have any sound, despite advertising the sound as "better than ever" and the dongle keeps stretching the resolution of some games to be larger than the television itself. You can get over the laggy responsiveness of the controller, etc because it's a cheap bit of fun. But it's less fun when it outright doesn't work.... Show more

Do not update the firmware! Repeat!
First off I really like this legends flashback system! It's very easy to set up and it is loaded with alot of excellent video games I really would like to give this 5 stars but However once I updated this system from the atgames website that's when things started to go wrong First I noticed that two star wars games stopped working and the software that is running the rest of the games now seems very glitchy I was looking to see if I could find the old firmware but it's not anywhere on their website so my only option was to go back to walmart and exchange this unit for another one and I won't be updating this new one! The only other thing that would be great is if atgames made wireless controllers that would work with this legends flashback!... Show more

Good Value for Casual Gamers
It is a good and inexpensive system. Most of the games I've played run fine and the ability to remap the controller's buttons is a nice addition. The only negative point I've come across is that one of the games, The Jungle Book, wouldn't start up; it would display the legal information and then just cut back to the menu screen. This isn't a big problem for me as I have no real interest in this particular game, and this could only be an issue only for the system that I received, but I could see how that could deter people from buying this. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this to any hard-core gamer, but it's fine for a casual gamer.... Show more

Great system - Get latest firmware!
Latest firmware makes this a great value. Great that Atgames is releasing improvements. Games run better than initial firmware and interface is easy to use. Some great Namco arcade games built in. Latest firmware adds ability to play genesis game roms and everything I've tried looks and plays great with the bonus that the built in 'rewind' feature and save states work with them too! Really nice for the price. Would recommend.... Show more

Not even worth 10$
Straight up garbage, you may have read that it's so cheap "to make room for next years model" Don't but this it's garbage. First flaw is they require you to press a button and "add coins" so ridiculous. Why is it ridiculous? because pushing the button only works 20% of the time. The only positive thing i can say is this one is better than their atari one. The atari one you feel like it's an original you have to reboot the thing a dozen times just to play games because the players dont show up. I could go on and on about the stupidity of the atari one but i'll stick to this one. GARBAGE DO NOT BUY IT... Show more

Satisfaction Overall
I was skeptic at first but you shouldn't believe everything you read online. I was really happy with my purchase of this console, yes it has a few glitches here and there, nothing you can't overlook. 97% of the games work great so I recommend it. My kids and I found something we can play together and the experience is nothing but awesome. I felt like I was 12 yrs old again and it was 1993 the risk was worth it.... Show more

Surprisimgly good gaming device and upgradeable.
Check Youtube videos about adding hundreds of games via a micro SD Card to this Flashback Deluxe. I upgraded mine with over 600 Sega Genesis games and it works great. Comes with two controllers but can also take original Genesis controllers which are more durable and responsive. Video quality is sharp at 720p.... Show more

The Legends FB can do more than ever, grab it now!
Currently this model is on clearance to make room for next year's version. It is an absolute steal at its current price for the console, 2 controllers and 50 games. On top of that, the latest firmware enables playing not only Genesis, but also NES, MAME 2000 arcade, and Master System, all from the SD card. You must supply the roms however. The menu interface is smooth, the controller is comfy for long gaming sessions, and don't forget the save feature. Rewind is great too, but it doesn't work on all games. Highly recommend!...
