Great tool. Husband used it right away.
Quality tool, made in Germany. The parallel-moving smooth jaws are great for grabbing onto fasteners and smooth surfaces without any damage, though they aren't perfectly parallel, the tips make contact before the inner parts of the jaws do. The dual-material grips are comfortable and easy on the hands, making it easier to squeeze the handles together harder to get an even tighter grip.
I’ve used a crescent for years but no longer. These are lighter and easier when dealing with fittings on angle stops and other finished nuts that you don’t want plier marks on.
Brilliant design and amazing functionality. These pliers don't have any 'gripping' grooves to mar finishes but the smooth jaws can hod fast. They are expensive but definitely worth the money.

These are a typically high quality German tools. The jaws are always parallel and have no teeth so they are good for chromed or finished nuts that would look bad if they have plier tooth marks. They are very expensive but work well if you need these features. The opening adjustment takes some getting used to and will generally take a few tries to get the right jaw opening.
at the minute I unwrapped this, I happened to be removing a faucet aerator, which had very thin flats. I don’t have another thin adjustable wrench - this is the only thing that would have worked.
perfect size for 1/2 stuff. wont round off your nuts. throw the channies and crescents in the trash and get these instead.
