The shape of the cutting edge on the knipex 25 01 160 results in an efficient bite type cut - as with diagonal cutters. Thanks to the additional induction hardening of the blades (cutting edge hardness approx. 61 HRC), it powerfully cuts cable, soft and medium-hard wire (cutting capacity diameter 2.5 mm) and hard wire (cutting capacity diameter 1.6 mm).
