You can really feel the difference in the amount of force required to cut harder metals. I used them for cutting panel nails which are very hard. My wife could cut the panel nails very easily using these cutters.

I've been looking for a hand tool that could cut screws or bolts. I did not a large two handled tool, e.g. bolt cutters. Leave it to Knipex to make such a tool. And it's comfortable. A couple of squeezes and I'm through the bolt. Wish I knew about this sooner.
the best I've used, they can cut 16 penny nails,they can cut almost any hard wires,cables without damage to the cutting edges.
I love these. They cut great but I wish they opened a little easier and a little wider. Other then that they are like all other knipex..... amazing.

Works as advertised. The double joint does work and makes it easier to cut with. Typical excellent German quality.
I use it only once but I like it. It take less effort to cut nails or vises. I recommend this tool.
