Since using this wool winder I've been able to re wind all my left over yarns and generally tidy up 'my stock'. Love it.
Purchased one prior to this, and the gears were metal, which I thought would be more sturdy and last longer. HA! It was 2x expensive as this one. This one works perfectly!
Works great, just have to be careful if you don't have a swift. Also, once the metal arm is snapped out to hold the yarn, can't seem to fold it back in for storing, so takes up a bit more space. Instructions on the box so be aware to not throw out if you need a reminder.
Love this, it make larger yarn cakes than my other one! Easy to use and I received it sooner than expected.
