When it was introduced in 2012, the Blinder Road set a standard against which the lights of any serious road rider were measured. Combining a lightweight design, perfect beam angles, powerful light output, and a unique mounting system, the Blinder instantly became a classic. Now after being redesigned in 2020, Knog is proud to present the new Blinder Road 400 The Blinder Road 400 includes all the best attributes of our original Blinder Road, but now with a powerful 400 lumens light output. And when this increased lighting output is combined with carefully considered beam angles for highway driving, you get a more powerful and seamless road bike light. Advanced LEDs and optics There is no universal bicycle light. Depending on the end use and even the type of bicycle, it is determined which is the best light to use. The Blinder Road uses 2 LEDs, each one with a capacity 250 lumens or 400 lumens when used together. The optic on the left has a 12 degree beam which provides perfect focus for running and fast driving on smooth roads. On the other hand, the optic on the right has a 32 degree beam, much more suitable for use on slower rides and in rough or bumpy driving conditions.
