Simply the best motorcycle glove manufacturer in the world. I was unfortunate to have a car hit my arm going 60+mph whilst I was travelling 50 mph in the opposite direction. I when the ambulance arrived and when I got to A&E the doctors and paramedics mentioned multiple times how the scaphoid protectors are a genius invention and probably saved my hand and that the forearm/cuff protection saved my wrist and forearm. A hairline fracture and sprained wrist were all that came of something that the medical professionals told me would have been life changing had I not worn something as protective as the handroid mk3s I was wearing. When I was able to ride again the handroid mk5s were an obvious and easy purchase to make and I will only ever buy Knox gloves. I had ordered a pair of Mk4s. They were delivered and I was pretty impressed. Then I got a notification that these were available. I was impressed enough with the mk4 to order them anyway. I have to say the Mk5s are even more impressive. The ease of putting them on when in full leathers is outstanding. The little things like pull tabs to help get them on and an extra large cuff helps. The flexibility is top notch. If you are looking, get a pair.... Show more

Best Harley Touring Hloves
The best choice I?ve ever made in gloves. After 20 years of riding, I typically cruise around 110mph on my Harley CVO Road King. I wiped out going around a curve at 20mph. Oil patch. Both levers broke between my gloves and the asphalt. One glove has a tiny scuff. No other damage. I?m sure that without these particular gloves, I?d have a few broken fingers. As a side note, airflow through these gloves is excellent, so I?d advise against riding with just them below 30 degrees. I just threw an XXL set of wind proof hunting gloves over them and I was good to go. Will buy again and will highly recommend!... Show more

Look elsewhere
I bought these after reading good reviews and recommendations from friends who have older handroids. It looks as though Knox may have gone through a cost cutting process as the quality doesn’t seem to be as good as previous generations. The gloves look cool and the skeletol system running down the fingers may provide some sort of protection in a crash but it appears to be more of a gimmick than function. If you use one or two fingers for break and clutch like I do then the plastic down the back of the fingers can restrict lever travel.Sizing - the thumbs are incorrectly made. Right hand was fine but the left thumb was noticeably longer resulting in an empty section at the end. This made it difficult to operate the turn signal switch. My biggest gripe is that the ... I can live with the other issues but this is extremely concerning as I wouldn’t have the confidence that these would hold up when needed.Revzilla customer service was excellent and these were returned however i’ll be using my refund for a different brand of glove... MK4 are way too hard to get on and off
Let me start with I had a pair of older Handroids and they were amazing gloves (not sure which version they were but I bought them in 2018). The old version felt instantly broken in and were very easy to take on and off. I unfortunately left them on the side of the freeway when a SUV decided to swerve into me at 30mph, which was hard enough to trap my thumb between the clip-on and gas tank, dislocating my thumb by 2cm and ripping my thumb half off. Despite that much force hitting my hand, I only had a tiny fracture in the tip of my middle finger, so I personally believe the (visually divisive) finger protection parts actually help. That said, I hate my MK4s. They went from a velcro strap around the wrist to making the whole glove use the boa connector, which would ... They went from a velcro strap around the wrist to making the whole glove use the boa connector, which would be great but it's WAY too tight when you put your hand in / take it out. I wear a 2XL and it's serious effort to put them on and off now, especially when your hand gets sweaty. I'm sure they're less likely to come off in a crash, but that didn't feel likely before and at this point I'm shopping for new gloves that I can actually use for day to day riding.... Show more

Review of Knox Handroid Mk5 Armour Gloves Black Mens - L
The Knox handroid gloves are a premium glove, no one can deny that but are they value for money? I’m not sure to be honest.I do like how comfortable they feel on, you definitely can feel the quality of the material used to make these gloves, the leather is soft but I still have confidence in it’s ability if the worse was to happen and I found myself going down the road. The gloves look great, feel great and I’m glad i purchased them, I just don’t think they command the £260 price tag.... Seam ripped right away
The left hand glove seam (top of hand, along index finger line) ripped open the second time I wore them, so 1 star. The fit was tight, but felt like it would break in nicely. I have big hands and long fingers, and this was the first glove I tired to exactly fit my finger length. I had high hopes, but those were dashed because of the poor manufacturing quality. Before the rip, my only complaint was the lack of ulna/wrist bone protection. The Taichi Raptor gloves I'm replacing have that, if not quite as protective otherwise. I've had the Raptors since 2015 and they've held up. I'm only replacing them because the lining's finally come loose and bunches when I put them on.Also, just noticed a loose thread when taking a picture of the rip. I expect a lot more ... We'll see
Jury is still out, build quality is a lot lower than expected from a glove in this price range. Thumb is too long, not sure why knox insists on pointer finger length thumbs. Boa system is awesome. Was told to size up by multiple sources, had to size back down to my regular size (M). Fingers awkwardly shove your finger tips into the inner stitching right under your nail, pretty uncomfortable. Gloves are very hot, zero ventilation, only worn around the house so far but immediately after putting them on its like a sauna. Looks cool though.... Show more
