Happy I am to find a reliable source of fresh 24 exposure rolls. And Kodak's UltraMax400 is made in the USA! I don't want to pay for 36exposure rolls off-the-shelf locally. I prefer film and enjoy pictures ofmy grandkids, using my trusty Canon 620 EOS.

Ultramax 400 is a classic when it comes to taking photos in daylight or even twilight. It has long exposure latitude and gives lovely results. I also recommend using it for flash photography at parties, etc.

I resell this film at my camera shop. While you find this 3-pack for a few dollars cheaper on other sites, I will say that 400 speed color film is incredibly versatile and worth the premium price. However, only having 24 shots per roll just increases the cost down the line.

Good service, will order again.FYIMy order of Kodak film came in a different looking Kodak box than the thumbnail on the website. It is the correct film, just an FYI for when your opening it.Thanks
Three pack very good deal. Standard Kodak quality. Neat pics and good price, especially for new (not expired) film. The 24 exposure roll convenient for testing cams & lens. Don’t need 36.
Being a forever Portra400 user, I've never found a film that I've liked enough to match the colors and texture. However, Portra is definitely still on the pricier end, so I decided to test out a few more rolls to see what might work. I didn't have super high hopes for the UltraMax 400 when I got it, thinking it would be overly saturated and not sharp enough. However, I've been very pleasantly surprised thus far! The colors pop for sure, but not in a bubble gum way. They bring many of my nature shots to life, and give an interesting look to my urban shots. I'm glad to have finally found an alternative to Portra that I can use regularly without breaking the bank.
I first took notice of Ultramax 400 when looking through Instagram and coming across photos that had been tagged with this film stock. I was impressed with the richness of color and fine grain. I was doubly impressed when I saw the price. I placed my order through B&H and soon thereafter took a trip to the zoo and shot a roll. I have since developed the photos at home using Ilford Ilfotec HC and the results were as good as I hoped they would be. I definitely recommend it.
I have been into slide & negative photography after a long hiatus. Recently embarked on film and having fun again. I found a Weston Master II recently. I had loaned mine to a fellow student in high school and never got it back. Now if you want to get into “film” go for it, you’ll really enjoy yourself immensely.
UltraMax is decent for the price. I would recommend spending a bit extra for ColorPlus though. Fine grain, but very neutral color tones.
The extra speed of this film over Gold 200 makes it ideal for point and shoots with small apertures. If you expose it properly, it will give great colors and no noticeable grain. Underexposed, your darks will be dark, not tinted like with Fuji or Gold.
