Old times with Kodak are nostalgic to me. I took photos of whatever I did. It was hard to expect a perfect picture because you couldn't see the screen on the camera, and I went to Walgreens to print them. The results were not always perfect; some were clear and some were not, it all depended on how you did. It's not the same as those days with high-technology cameras, but it was a fun and old-fashioned experience.

Kodak is my favorite for camera usage. These are great. I put a lot of these all over my daughters wedding. I asked the guests to take pictures of random things at the wedding. We got so much good photos like that. Photos that the photographers didn’t catch. I also used these at my daughters and son’s graduation party. These are useful and perfect.

Okay so we are in the digital age. We rarely need to use a film camera being we have a camera on every cell phone. Last year we were out of town with a girl scout event. With so many girls in and out, I forget my phone. So we stopped at a local drugstore and I grabbed a Kodak single use camera so we could get some pictures of this event. I'm so glad I did. The Kodak was so easy to use the pictures came out amazing. The girls were able to make copies with ease to make pages for their scrapbooking projects. The only down side was once you click it's done meaning you can't go back and fix the shot. However the quality to cost and convenience was hands down great.

I love these cameras! In the past I have used sooo many of these cameras and have tons of pictures of special times for memories. Printed pictures are so fun to go back and look at over the years. My daughter was always given these to take to events, such as Girl Scouts. Now it seems mostly cell phones are used to capture events and fun times. Cell phones are great and convenient, but then pictures get over posed for and sometimes that natural feeling isn’t shown. Most times cell phone pictures don’t get developed and it’s not as memorable to pass around a cell phone as it to pull out a photo album and share with friends and family! Kodak cameras allow you to get the moment of unfiltered picture that you then get to be surprised at after, having the film developed.

My husband and I are professional photographers, and we were obsessed with capturing memories for little family and girls of 2 under 2. We’ve bought quite a few of these cameras and left them on our shelf, so every holiday, with family members like grandparents, aunts and uncles or just fun moments that we have together as a family we can quickly run and grab it and take a photo! We may be nostalgia junkies About it since this is what we ourselves used when we were younger and these are the cameras are used for our childhood photos. I have used this Kodak camera on several occasions. The camera is disposable. it can be submitted into any film developer. Once all the pictures are shot and then the camera is tossed. It’s a cheap alternative to having a digital camera. it’s fun to buy a few and hand them out to the kids during birthdays or special occasions so the kids can take pictures. The only negative is that the picture quality is not as good as a digital camera but that’s to be expected. Highly recommend.

The last time I bought these cameras were for my nephews 4th birthday party. As we planned the party we thought it would be fun to let all the 4 year olds each have a camera so they could take pictures from their point of view. They had so much fun! After the party we gathered them up and dropped them off to be developed. My sister and I were laughing so hard at some of the pictures! Some the heads had been cut off, some we upside down and oh, don’t forget about the tries to take selfies. All in all it was a great time and we shared the pictures with the whole group. As 4 year olds do, they were all laughing and cracking jokes as they went through the pictures. Using these disposable cameras was so easy and gave the kids a different type of birthday game. 3.5 stars, 7/10, did what I needed it to do, works easy, viewfinder out of focus, photos are too dark when taken in average light

The thing that I was most worried about when I ordered this was that the camera would be out of date. The one I received says it expires in 2021, so that was a relief. It was totally brand new when I opened it. The viewfinder is mostly out of focus, but it doesn't make it impossible to see. You need to hold down the flash button when taking a photo. Everything about this camera is simple to use. The photos are alright, the colors are as good as they get, but overall quality is not the greatest. My main problem with them is that some turn out too dark when taken in average shaded lighting. They turn out a LOT darker than what you took a photo of. When in high sunlight, though, they turn out practically perfect. They turn out a LOT darker than what you took a photo of. When in high sunlight, though, they turn out practically perfect. The other issue I have with the photos is that the focus on them isn't the best either. It's impossible to tell how focused they'll be, since the viewfinder is out of focus no matter what. I attached four photos: one in bad light, one in moderate light, one in perfect light, and one at night. All in all, I give the camera a 7/10. It did what I needed it to do, and the photos aren't too awful. If you're gonna be somewhere bright, you're in luck. If you're gonna be in the woods, then reconsider. Last year I bought a disposable camera that supposedly expired a year before, and the photos on that turned out a lot better than the ones taken on this brand new, in-code camera. Take a look at my attached photos and see for yourself. I feel like 3 stars is too critical but 4 stars is too generous. I'd give 3.5 stars if I could.

Nice for nostalgia, not so much for quality
1 May 2024

I thought I knew what I was getting with a cheap disposable camera but I didn't realize how bad it would be in not so low light situations. Like shaded area under trees? That shouldn't be so bad but this camera+film fails to look good. But anything in proper sunlight is excellent. Photos taken with flash look good ask well in their own way but you have remember that the flash range is not too far.Another thing to note is that this is a very wide lens and it was very easy to get your fingers in shot. It was embarrassing after decades of being hobbyist photographer to have my fingers in shots. :D

Pricey, but fun

The days of good sub-£10 disposable cameras are seemingly gone, but the fun remains. If anything, the enjoyment of using these cameras is more obvious now than in the past, given how modern technology has changed our approach to taking photographs. Sometimes mindlessly.Yes, you could be on holiday and have no idea how the photo will turn out. The 800 speed film is grainy and low contrast. The lens is fixed wide and not exactly stellar. The viewfinder is like a Fisher Price toy.But there is something incredibly nostalgic and authentic about seeing your holiday from an entirely different perspective. The characteristics of the film shift the mood, and there is simply no way of deleting or machine-gunning exposures. Nothing can replicate the feeling of waiting days ... MoreThe days of good sub-£10 disposable cameras are seemingly gone, but the fun remains. Just keep your expectations in check!
