Close-up photos are much clearer and sharper, even with the auto-focus! However, I would like to be able to control the exposure time; sometimes the camera over-exposes the shot. Otherwise, I'm happy with it. Being able to recharge the battery while also uploading photos and videos to my computer is a plus -no separate cord needed!

Great little camera. This is my second one...the first one has been with my travel companion since 2007. Time to update for trip to Europe and decided to stay with this camera.

I love my Kodak PIXPRO FZ55 Digital Camera (Blue)!!!! I give it a 5 star rating!!!!! I love the color of Blue!!!! I just have to learn how to use it. The only thing that I did not like was IT DID NOT HAVE AN OWNER'S MANUAL with it!!! Why do you not include a Owner's Manual????? How are you to learn about the camera & how to use it if there is no manual????? Otherwise I love it!!!!Include an owner's manual with each camera so customers can learn how to operate their new cameras!!!!!
I needed a very compact camera for my everyday carry bag. This fits the bill. Time will tell how good the small battery will hold up with regards to capacity but so far so good. B&H shipped super fast and the price was much better than on Amazon, thank you.
This was purchased for my granddaughter. She has a phone with a decent camera but she wanted an actual camera. This is small and easy for her to handle. The pictures are very good.Shipping was fast and the camera as advertised.

Nice compact camera. Perfect for traveling, seems to have a nice picture and if it gets stolen or lost won?t be the end of the world. It?s pretty easy and intuitive to use, especially as a point and shoot style camera. I get the strong reviews.
This camera takes great pictures and it has a lot of options for a point and shoot. It's one of the few point and shoot cameras where you can choose a 16:9 or 3:2 aspect ratio. Most point and shoots only offer 4:3. The camera easily fits in the palm of a small hand and that makes it flexible to carry and whip out for a quick photo. Also, you don't have to remove the battery to recharge it. You just charge it leaving the battery inside it's housing. For a point and shoot with this price, you can't find anything better.
Sure would have been great if it were an f2.8 lens but at this price? Few compact cameras now and fewer with PA S M. Not sure if has A and S but it has M. Shutter-speed range, impressive but only 2 f stops. Why buy a compact when my phone has a decent camera? Touchscreen. Sometimes I tap the camera icon and nothing kicks in. Especially when it rains. Also sometimes in the midst of a video, an incoming WA message ruins it all.
