This is one of the toys that my dogs have had the longest! My dogs are heavy chewers and super destructive when it comes to their toys. They really like stuffies better than he hard toys but they enjoy this one a lot. It's probably one of the only toys they have that isn't chewed off. I recommend this to those with fur babies that are heavy chewers.

Yeah...no...squeaker gone in 5 min...only a matter of time for our 1yo boxer-mix to put the smackdown on another toy!! KONG REALLY needs to do a MUCH better job of stating what type of chewer these thing are for!!! Soooo disappointed! It does smell like vanilla which is nice tho!

It's not very often I can find a toy that keeps my two 70 lb labs interested while being unable/not wanting to destroy it. They are very powerful chewers so I was unsure how this bone would hold up. IT IS PERFECT. It does squeak - so as long as you don't mind the squeaking this is a great bone. It's light and soft and has kept their interest the past few weeks. The size is great too! It is large, but perfect for my boys. They love it, and I love it! Definitely recommend this bone!

Kong toys are usually tough toys for my two boys however they had these torn up within a day. One had a great squeak, the other didn’t because a seam had opened. That could be because of the dog though, I’m not sure. Regardless neither squeak now as they are in pieces. I had to take them away due to the small rubber pieces they were chewing them into. Not wanting to find them in poop later or worse.
It lasted 1 1/2 days,, WOW , my dog bit a hole in it ,,!!!! NOT ONLY DID TINY BITE A HOLE IN IT BUT A SMALL TUBE PART FELL OUT THAT MY DOG COULD HAVE SWALLOWED !!! BUT LIQUID CAME OUT FOR THE SMELL, fragrance, WAS INSIDE IT ,, LEAKING OUT .. Wondering now if poisonous,, can’t be good for a dog to eat ,, hole about 1 inch on the blue end of the bone.. tried to add a photo but they rejected adding it to this review,,, Asking for money back ,, read other reviews see same thing happened to somebody else
Our dog loved this toy as soon as we gave it to her. Unfortunately after only 10 minutes it stopped squeaking, her favorite part. I can see the squeaker inside came loose and is floating around in there. Very disappointed since it was a Kong. I thought it would last.
I have 2 huskies a male and female. My female loves speaking toys. I thought since this is a kong it would last. Nope. I bought 2 of these in large, one for each. My female broke hers already. She chewed the one end if the ball off. So no longer squeaks. Then she stole her brothers because his still squeaks. I would not recommend these for huskies or any dog that likes to chew. My female was so excited to get it. But not worth the money for her to break it within 10 minutes.
I have a dog that can destroy anything with a squeaker in it within just a few minutes. I purchased this thinking since it was a Kong it would last at least a few days. My dog had the squeaker broken and floating around inside the toy within just a few minutes. After only a few weeks of play the toy itself is torn around the curves of the bone. However my dog loves this toy and has tons of fun playing with it so in the end if my dog loves it I will buy it again and again to make him happy! We love Kong toys, so no bad feelings about Kong love the product!
We have two Aussie Boxers that are very strong chewers. This KONG toy has held up well with their tugging, chewing and playing. We frequently check their toys for damage to ensure they are still safe for chewing; so far, so good. Even the squeakers are still in tact! We would buy this again.
I have a crazy chewer pitty and he loves to shred all his toys. This was his first squeaking toy that lasted longer a day. It died around day 7 and was shredded around day 12 but hey not to bad considering his history. In conclusion this is probably best for someone looking for a standard squeaking toy and NOT a chew toy.
