KONG Air Dog Squeaker Tennis Balls have become my two dog's absolute favorite playtime toy. It wears them both out!! The classic tennis ball design combined with the added squeaker brings a new level of excitement each time we play fetch. With each bite or grab the squeaker adds that interactive element that really does keep my dogs engaged entertained. Theyāre very durable, they hold up to each of the my aggressive chewers. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because of the cost. Yes theyāre worth it but inflation is legit!! These KONG Balls are fun and have become a great addition to our toy collection. They are a must have for any canine companion that appreciates a great game of fetch or a loud squeaker!! š¶š¾

We have a small dog, a Manchester Terrier / Basenji mix. She's 12 now and still loves the squeak and the chase of the Kong tennis balls. They may last a long time for other dogs, but our dog, as small as she is, carries a powerful bite. One tennis ball might last a couple of days to a week before she has already destroyed the squeaking ability. Then the ball gets mauled enough that the felt is coming off and the ball is coming apart. I still give it a 4 star rating because when most dogs don't really play anymore, she is ready to chase and play still with the Kong tennis balls.

This is the best squeaky ball out there, according to my dog. He cherishes these! They last a good while, but like any tennis balls, I eventually need to replace with fresh ones after several months of daily play and squeaking. They are great for playing catch and keep my dog content even with just having nearby (he carries them around the house and even takes one to bed occasionally). They are the same size and material as regular human tennis balls, just with the capacity to be squeezed and squeak. They do sink after a while in water, so just beware of that. Definitely worth keeping these stocked in your dogās toy box!

Overall: a good dog toy with medium durability.I have a medium-size dog. He loves fetching/chewing squeaky things. One of these balls _WITH SUPERVISION_ will last him a couple of weeks before he destroys it. Kong uses a non-abrasive felt so that it won't destroy your dog's teeth, but you do have to keep an eye on them because the balls can be "peeled", with enough dedication to the task. I don't think the fuzzy-skin is poisonous, but it's removal is the precursor to destruction. The balls can also take on water if you use them in a river/pool and they'll make a very sad noise and expel a spray of water until they're empty again after they go for a swim.Overall,Be careful, there are two sizes! First, my fur baby is not a chewer. I throw these balls and she fetches them, so the wear and tear is only them bouncing on grass and her catching them or picking them up with her mouth. Occassionally, I'll notice that the inner rubber ball splits underneath the felt. More noticably, the felt will begin to peel off the ball due to the adhesive breaking down. It seems like this breakdown is due to the interaction with dog saliva. In some cases the rubber ball becomes visible due to this detachement, and in other cases the felt material becomes loose around the ball. I have had to buy more of these than I like to admit, some breaking down quite quickly and others lasting a bit longer. These are really too expensive for how quickly they can break down.
Well made as I would expect from Kong products. Price point is decent and Iād imagine these would hold up well for most pups that enjoy fetch in conjunction with tennis ball that squeaks! However, our ādestroyer of worldsā 8mo old TWC still skins and shreds these to pieces within an hour left alone, as well as denser rubber Kong toys. Still searching for toys that are durable enough to last a couple months with our boy, as well as safe to ingest as he inadvertently swallows pieces of whatever heās shredding. Heās our little mobile wood chipper. Might have to stick with bovine shin bones, but they just arenāt great as ātoysā.
KONG brand typically has durable toys, but this ball is a fail. We stick to larger balls when it comes to our GSD out of concern for the regular tennis balls becoming lodged in their throat. The size of this ball is perfect! However, when it comes to durability, it does not hold up to our strong chewer. We have purchased a few of these and our GSD bites down a few times and they flatten and pop open. We do keep them on hand for when we play fetch outside. We can get more than one session of use out of them with supervised play. If he's in a chewing mode, they are destroyed within minutes. If you don't have a strong chewer, this is a great ball for playing fetch.Your purchase should be based on the size of your dog his/her strength when chewing toys.
Only balls my mini 5 lb. 3yr old Yorkie has loved since she was a puppy. Perfect size for her little mouth, longer lasting squeaker and better bounce and quality than other balls weāve tried. Beware to keep size XS away from bigger dogs as it can be a choking hazard & it will get destroyed rather quickly. Our 20lb Rescue Terrier Mix, likes to steal our Yorkies XS Kong-balls when she drops it out of her mouth. He has his own Small & Medium size Kong Balls to play with but for some reason he prefers to crush her xs size balls. I guess cause they are softer & easier to squeaker. So the second he gets a hold of that size, and by the time I get him to drop it and take it away, heās split the ball and squeaker inside. So have to always keep her size xs in stock. Lol! Only wish they sold these balls in certain colors only as my Yorkie princess prefers the colors Pink, Orange and Blue. She doesnāt care much for the yellow or green. Plus green is just a bad color for playing fetch outside in the grass, as grass is green too. So maybe red would be better to see.
the ball was basically a tennis ball with I think a bell inside, no idea how they did lol. Normally his balls last awhile and usually walks around with ball, jaws moving cuz its his version of gum so after a week /- the ball is warped. ive come to time how long it takes to destroy something . But i didnt see it coming this time. The bell was like in a prize fight and I barely got to him in time. im very careful about small items. i lost my boxer because she ate part of a toy only found out on christmas eve she seemed off. The vet found the cloth on toy was in intestines and would take invasive surgery, not a good way to live. I chose no operation as she'd always be on medication and never in comfort. i couldnt do that to her so I kissed her good night and that i ...Ā Morethe ball was basically a tennis ball with I think a bell inside, no idea how they did lol. I chose no operation as she'd always be on medication and never in comfort. i couldnt do that to her so I kissed her good night and that i loved her. 2 years later i heard about Spazzz and needed a home. I love Spazzz but i still miss her but i have to smile cuz i think they'd have loved each other! So be careful on what toys you give them plscuz they really are big babies.Sorry i cant take pic, I still have the bell but idk its been at least a month ago that i gave him the ball. its not fault of maker, it never occured 2 me hed be thst aggressive until i saw his face and heard the bell. his 1st toy i bought for him had a bell and had the same expression. As i said hes part pit pull and his jaws are formidable so im thinking you probably dont have a Spazzz that goes in to crush kill destroy at ring of a bell! and your baby will love it!
Iāll preface this by saying there is nothing my dog has yet to find that she canāt destroy. Squeaker balls are her very favorite and usually last less than 30 minutes before she wears out the squeaker. These do last a bit longer than most other balls Iāve tried, but less than a day. She does like to play with them some even after they stop squeaking, but it doesnāt take too long before she loses interest. I just expected more from the āKongā name. I wish I could find a more indestructible squeaker toy (Iād settle for one that lasted a couple of days).
