This toy is always popular in our household - yes it's noisy at times but the cats have a blast playing with it. Great design, The balls don't fall out like with some similar toys and the figure eight design has them running and twisting and jumping around chasing the balls. The add on toys are pretty pointless but that doesn't really matter because it's the main part that's the fun bit. They last for years too - great quality!

I give the track portion with the balls two stars. The feather attachments are worth zero stars - they do not stay attached to the base or the stick that attaches to the base, and come apart easily such that pieces can be ingested by your cat, which caused ours to vomit up small pieces of red fabric from the red feather. We removed the stick (very easily) from the black attachment and he just plays with it separately like a little toy mouse. Even at $10 I don't recommend.

Got this thinking it would be a good non auto toy. The youngest cat likes the simple single ball version so I thought it would be good. The oldest cat tried to take off with it immediately by the furry tail that is attached. He loved the catnip fur tail. And he managed to remove that from the track within the first hour. It is floating around the house somewhere. The feather on top was also destroyed immediately. So now it is just the double ball track which doesn't interest them as much. For a Kong toy which are normally indestructible, this did not last nearly anywhere as long as i thought it would. Mind you, my older cat is only 2 years old, and more like a small dog than any cat i have ever had. Also the dye they used on the feather ended up transferring on him ... MoreGot this thinking it would be a good non auto toy. If it was just the younger cat, I think it would have lasted longer and would have given it more stars. If your cats are rough with fur or feather toys, this may not be the toy for them.

I have a 10 year old cat and a full-of-energy 4 month old kitten. The older cat plays with it when she can get her turn. The kitten attacks it with gusto! She loves this and plays and pounces on it all the time. I move it from room to room - it goes where I am because that is where Katrina & Isis want to be. It's sturdy and well worth the price - which was excellent.
We have four cats, the 1 1/2y.o and two 7month old cats have tried to play with this here and there since we got it but it just doesn’t seem fun to them. The cats can easily get their arms stuck in it then just drag it around til it comes off. Both feather sticks do not stay on the toy. They were fun to chew on for a moment but had to be taken away for safety not to eat the feathers. If I would have bought this in store I would have definitely returned it. I would suggest sticking to the circular open tracks.
The kittens love this, I originally bought this for my sisters kittens a couple of years ago & they still play with it, even her grumpy old cat will sneek a go when she thinks no one is looking! It is very robust, it doesn't show in the picture, but there are also 2 attachments. Would recommend this.
My cat whom is 3 and loves to play had absolutely no interest in this. I even put her favorite toy inside trying to peak her interest. She simply walked over and took it out and walked away. I will give it 3 stars because I think it is well made except for the tail.
Bought this for an overly energetic 9 month old and he is very excited with it compared to his other toys. There is something for every cat, and this toy brings together many different aspects so your cat will never be bored
I bought this months ago for my kitten. She just sniffed it and walked away. She never played with it until I put a few pieces of dry cat food kibble in it at my bedtime. It gave her something to enjoy and helped her not meow with anxiety when I closed my bedroom door telling her I was going night night. It was a ritual for a while. It also encouraged her to eat dry food. She is a very picky eater and usually prefers wet food, but I try anything to get her to eat anything. This toy helped for a while. It was expensive for her to not actually play with it as intended.
My senior cat - 12+ years - was his stoic self for about a day and now he plays with this daily. we bought this for some activity as he is an always inside cat. We had to put it on a table because our dog very much wants to get to the balls inside the toy. It is well thought out cat toy. The feather and fluffy tail-like attachments do come off if cat gets excited but they go right back on with a twist to re-anchor the toys. We always watch toys with our pets to prevent any over stimulation or potential injury (like eating feather). I would recommend this to other cat humans.
