Bought this for our staffy when she was 7mths old - she is a strong chewed and has managed to destroy many expensive toys with a chewability ratings of 9/10 within the hour of getting it.The rope on this toy stood no chance against her but I'm happy to say my pup turns 1 this month and has only just cracked the rubber section after a nightly play and chew session. I'm here to buy a replacement as this has been the longest surviving toy for her.

Our puppy loves his Kong Dental with rope. I press kibble into the grooves to make him work for it but once food has gone he leaves it. I'd like him to chew on it a bit more but he is only young yet and is easily distracted. It's fun to play tug with.

The rope was destroyed within the first day. One of my dachshunds sets out to destroy anything she can chew on. When we give her the remaining red chewy piece she leaves a pile of red rubber pieces on the floor. It’s durable but not indestructible. I am not sure anything is when it comes to her.

My dog, Boston, is a chewer. He loves to shred any stuffed toy we have bought for him. This Kong toy is incredible. He's had it for quite some time, and has yet to destroy it! For any other pet owners that have come home to stuffing everywhere, or torn apart tennis balls, this is a toy for your critter!!! 100% will continue to buy him this brand!
My 4 month old puppy loves playing tug of War so thought this would be a great toy to play this with and maybe encourage some of those baby teeth out. However less than 2 days after receiving this the rope has been entirely destroyed. Not just fraying, it is literally biten in 2 with thread everywhere. Considering this was from Kong I expected better, stronger toy!
My puppy loves to chew on the rope part of this toy. The rope seems sturdy. It’s held up really well to my pup’s constant knawing. I’ve been trying to get him to chew on the sturdy rubber center. I think it’s still too big for his puppy jaw. I like that the rubber center is supposed to help keep teeth clean. As soon as he’s bigger, I hope he uses this.
The rope survived for about 2 mins before my puppy shredded it! Rubber part looks like it would last but useless without the rope...
Our BB goes nuts for this and Loves it. She has chewed on it and played very rough and its lasted. The dental part is still a little big for her but she does like chewing on it. Really impressed with quality.
I expected more from a Kong toy , my dogs pulled it apart in 3 days . It's changed my view in the brand
I bought this just because it's from KONG, but it turns out that I might have expected too much. My 5kg dog destroyed this within 3 hours while a similar product I bought from Woolworth lasted 8 months.
