My dog was terribly sick just 5 or 6 hours after eating this in a long toy. He loved it but started getting lethargic, jumped off my bed and barely made it a few feet when he couldn't hold it any longer. He laid back down and started shivering, after a few minutes he threw up alot. After a few minutes of shaking and looking like he was going to just die. He calmed for a little while then proceeded to have mostly watery waste about 7 or 8 times over the next 3 hours. He is still looking tough this morning but has had a little perk back in his step. I'm throwing this garbage where it belongs. I'm not even offering it up to my friends with pets. its horrible she shouldn't be on the market.

I bought this the first time I bought a Kong toy for my dogs at a local pet store. I have two large dogs and they love their Kong toys! It is easy to fill the Kong toys with. I had found out about filling the toys with peanut butter after I bought this. The peanut butter works just as well and is cheaper. My dogs liked the taste of this product but they seemed to enjoy the peanut butter just as well. I haven't bought this product again mainly due to the fact I can get peanut butter cheaper. Plus I can use the peanut butter also. I will say it is alot easier and quicker to fill the toys with this product compared to peanut butter.

My dog loves this, however I was apprehensive to buy it as I feel like it’s not healthy at all. Smells like cheese in a can, however as a very occasional addition to his Kong I’m ok with it. Also don’t make the same mistake I did when using the spray nozzle for the first time - it makes no sound when dispensing. I ended up wasting a lot of the product as too much came out and they are only meant to have a small amount. But there is a lot in this can and I think it’s going to last a really long time which is also great as we go through a lot of super expensive treats in my house! 4 stars for unhealthy nature of the product.

Our puppies love this and get so excited when they see me take it out of the cupboard. I fill the chewy toys and wait for them to sit quietly. It doesn't take long, as they know it's when they get their treat. It's funny because our little boy always goes to the left hand and our little girl to the right hand. I wonder why🤔. It is peaceful whilst they enjoy this treat.
I know it’s for puppies, but my 4 year old foster dog loves, loves, LOVES this stuff. We not only use it with Kong toys, but we also place a bit on other treats too. We use this to convince her to go into her crate nightly and it works without fail. I am determined to make sure we keep this stuff on hand at ALL times.
This product is great!! My pup usually is not all that fond of liver, but she LOVES this liver paste. She is on several medications so I use a product designed to contain the pill so I don't need to push it down her throat. But there are times she will reject this method. Enter Kong Liver Paste to the rescue. The smell alone has her hooked and she takes the medication greedily every time. It also works well when she is not terribly interested in eating her meal. I spread a stream on her food and mix it in a bit and she gobbles. I highly recommend this product.
Our 6 month old puppy absolutely loved the paste when it was squirted inside a hollow bone treat and frozen. She spend hours licking both end to get every bit out. I found it very easy to fill the hollow bone. My only concern was that the can was too small for the price.
Major digestive issues. Although my puppy loves the taste, it’s not worth the constant diarrhea that follows. I wanted something that I could spray on her lick mat during bathing, ear cleaning, etc. I now get canned pumpkin at the store and use that instead. That and peanut butter.
My 10 week old Cavapoo was very interested in the taste (of course, he's a puppy), but we didn't find out until hours later that it upset his stomach. Gurgling noise, firm to watery stool, and sad puppy eyes. This was the only thing different when giving him something to digest. He skipped breakfast, but ate a small amount of banana later on. I'm sure the product is good for most dogs. I wished there was asample size that we could have tried first. Now I'm stuck with a whole can.
