I cannot rave about this brush ENOUGH! I have a Pug, so as any pug ownercan tell you, THEY SHED, and they shed like a big dog would. This brushis incredible for any short haired doggy. When you use it, brush in acircular motion and you can just watch all the loose hairs come up. Iwas shocked the first time I used this because the amount of hair thatit picks up and takes off is nuts. I had been using a regular brush atfirst for short haired dogs, now I combine the two. I start off withthis to loosen the hair, and follow with the regular brush to pick upanything that comes off. This is a miracle brush. It helps to reduce theamount of shedding as well, an

I loved how they provided a three pack at one point. My old man was a huge fan of kongs, even after he had to have most of his teeth pulled. It is a sad day when your puppers can't play with his favorite toy. Well not now!!! He is never going to stop gumming those babies until he's gotten every bit of peanut butter out of them.

My senior dog has developed more separation anxiety with age. He doesn’t like being left alone for too long. We stuff the kong with peanut butter and freeze it. It keeps him busy enough to pass the time.

My 15 yr old chi doesn’t have that many teeth but he loves too use the ones he has. It’s been an on going struggle to ring a treat that he won’t inhale but also won’t get bored with. When I saw him trying to pick up my foster Pit’s giant king, I immediately went out to get one for him. I was thrilled to discover the softer rubber model for senior pups like mine. It’s firmer than the puppy kings but softer than the traditional model. He absolutely loves it and it keeps him busy for hours!
We love our KONG toys. My 7 year old chiweenie loves his! To be quite honest, I don’t think he’s ‘senior’ enough to need the senior one, but I got it just in case. It’s soft, but not too soft. It’s more firm than the puppy one though. This is the small, and it’s the perfect size for my little guy (11 lbs.). I do have to wedge it in between the couch, but that’s because he’s lazy and won’t give it the time of day if he has to hold it. It usually takes him about 10-15 minutes to finish it, and that’s with me putting it into the freezer with peanut or almond butter in it! Always remember to create an airway between both ends!!
I know dogs that have kongs but haven’t gotten around to buying one for my dog until 10 years old! I was glad there was an option for senior dogs. I don’t regret the purchase. It’s a great way for my dog to entertain himself. And I literally put any healthy treat/ vitamin in it as a treat otherwise he’ll just gulf down the treat on his own and beg for more. I am always surprised at how well he is able to completely clean out the contents inside every time! Saved money by buying online at with a coupon #furryfriends
My 10yr old Cavalier loves his new Kong toy. Gets excited when he sees me putting the treats in it. Keeps him entertained for a good 20mins. So happy I brought the Kong.
Do not purchase Kong brand dog toys. They will break apart with regular chewing. We had to euthanize our sweet bulldog, after a piece of Kong toy, that we bought from Walmart, became lodged in her small intestine. This was heartbreaking and totally avoidable. Beware this product.
OK, I have been humbled. I see you did post my review I wrote last week, where I gave this item only two stars. Well, my dog kept bringing it to me, so I did put in some snacks. They did have to be bigger, so they wouldn't fall out of the big hole all at once. My dog had so much fun with the holder and we use this every morning at 10:30, which is her "treat" time. I have changed this to 4 stars, please delete my last review, if possible. My dog taught me a good lesson...don't make quick decisions, you may have to eat crow.
I have a 9-year old poodle mix that weighs 13 pounds. The size is perfect for her mouth and it is easy for her to carry around. She absolutely loves it. I wish I had purchased it a long time ago because it keeps her from getting bored. The one challenge is that it keeps rolling under the furniture. I have to find something to block the gap between the bottom of the furniture and the floor. Because of that, I don't let her use it when I'm not home. She tends to get stressed out when she can't reach it, and I wouldn't want to have her upset all day when I'm at work. One thing I didn't realize at the beginning is that after she had eaten the treat that was near the top, she didn't eat what was inside. She learned eventually, but it took a while. If you use the Kong paste with it, be prepared for it to get smeared on the floor. I have hard wood floors, but if you have carpet it might get kind of gross. Also, it is probably cheaper just to use peanut butter. I've also heard of people using cream cheese. I haven't tried those yet.
