Kong Signature Stick - Medium

I am astounded at how many people give a negative review on this toy. This toy is a play toy for you and your pet, not a chew toy. It is not meant for your pet to sit around and just chew it up. It is meant for you to throw and play with your dog. I have a Cane Corso and there is nothing he cannot tear up but he does fine with his Kong toys when supervised.. Be responsible and actually spend some time playing with your dog.

My dog absolutely loves this toy. He goes nuts every time he gets to play with it. He loves the fact it makes crackle sound, easy to play with and he doesn’t get bored with the fetch game goes. That’s the reason I’m giving it three stars. If it didn’t fall apart to easy I would have giving it five stars. Isn’t there a way to make dog toys like this but tougher. Is Kevlar an option or make it with no stitching down the side

Stoick has the XLarge size and goes nuts for it when I bring it out. We only use it for a game of fetch and then put it away. It's made from a fire hose type material, so I think if left unattended with it he would probably destroy it (it's not designed as a "chew" toy). We also play a bit of tug with it, and while he's a bit of a wimp when it comes to tug, he's still got pretty good teeth (he chews through bones after all!). We've had it for several months now and no signs of wear yet. He really enjoys the tackling of this as its quite substantial. Gets 5 stars from us! We're going to get another smaller size one for our Jack Russell Terrier so it will be interesting to see if he can destroy it as the other reviewer has commented.
