Kong - Wubba - Extra Large
The Kong Wubba gives wonderful dog entertainment value! Made from reinforced nylon fabric, it bounces, squeaks, and flips its tails around, ideal for interactive play for curious, active dogs.Use while supervised. Dogs will love this bouncing, squeaking Kong toy. The tails make it irresistibly chaseable, and are great for tossing in the air or tugging with a human or canine playmate. The bounces can be pretty wacky and let your dog hunt down the Wubba then catch it while it squeaks for mercy. The tough nylon fabric stands up well to rough play but unlike other Kongs, this is not designed for chewing, and all dogs with Wubbas should be supervised. It is fantastic for building your friendship with your dog through active outdoor play.

it lasted maybe 20 seconds. even with it being a kong toy, i didn’t expect it to last very long but man it just ripped open immediately. there’s a very small tennis ball in the top most dogs over 10lbs could easily choke on. if the tennis ball was larger, i would’ve been a little more forgiving. my 70lb pit mix is a very aggressive chewer and i try to avoid any type of fabric toy because i know he’s just going to demolish it but this one was on sale and kong brand so i figured hey why not. i didn’t realize the ball in the top would be so small. maybe if i got an xl instead of a large it would’ve been bigger but thankfully i don’t give him toys without supervision. he ripped it right open and pulled out the large squeaky ball and the tiny tennis ball. i managed to ... Moreit lasted maybe 20 seconds. even with it being a kong toy, i didn’t expect it to last very long but man it just ripped open immediately. there’s a very small tennis ball in the top most dogs over 10lbs could easily choke on. if the tennis ball was larger, i would’ve been a little more forgiving. my 70lb pit mix is a very aggressive chewer and i try to avoid any type of fabric toy because i know he’s just going to demolish it but this one was on sale and kong brand so i figured hey why not. i didn’t realize the ball in the top would be so small. maybe if i got an xl instead of a large it would’ve been bigger but thankfully i don’t give him toys without supervision. he ripped it right open and pulled out the large squeaky ball and the tiny tennis ball. i managed to get it out of his mouth before he tried to swallow it. idk it just seems like a huge hazard. im not even mad the toy ripped open so fast. i expected a little more durability due to it being kong but i understand no toy is indestructible, especially with an aggressive chewer. if the tennis ball was full sized i would’ve been pretty content with the toy but it’s like the size of a ping pong ball and i can’t understand why they would put a ball that small in a toy designed for dogs that aren’t teeny tiny. i mean even if it was intended for a chihuahua, that still just seems risky

Charley carries it everywhere. He remembers to go and fetch it when he is allowed out into the front yard. He leaves it at the back gate when he goes out there for a walk; no matter where he is in the house he goes to fetch one of the Wubba toys and leaves them waiting for his return. He went outside a few weeks ago and found an older one in a pile of leaves and brought it back indoors, and then spat it out with a bunch of dried leaves too. He ADORES the Wubbas. I have to confiscate them when I am on the phone because he is on high-speed-play and makes too much noise in my vicinity, I cannot complete telephone or Zoom calls! :-)

I agree with the other dog owners - my chihuahua mix has chewed through a few of them in the last 3 months. But I just put in an order for 3 with the 2 for 3 deal. Why? Because my dog LOVES THIS TOY. Even without being stuffed with peanut butter (which you can't, but I have the other Kong which does), she will play with this for like 15-20 minutes if I keep it away from her for an hour before. At night, she looks for it, then sometimes sleeps with it. It is a lot of squeaking, but I have had three toddlers, so I am used to toys that make noise. This is less than $10, which is worth it to me. The only thing that makes me pause is that there are probably thousands of these in the landfill at this point. I just cut out the plastic squeaker (goes to landfill), but I ... MoreI agree with the other dog owners - my chihuahua mix has chewed through a few of them in the last 3 months. I have a 3 year old German Shepherd who you could consider a very strong chewer (he can break through a nylon lead in two bites and terrify his kennel guardian for 45 minutes as he flees in a game of chase). This toy holds up for weeks before he breaks through the covering to the squeaker (which lasts days before he deflates it) and tennis ball on top. He thinks the squeak that comes out of this toy is excellent (I do have to put it up on a shelf around bedtime because nobody wants to hear this high pitch at 2200).Absolutely recommend this if your dog sounds anything like my big old happy goof.
Our German shepherd 'puppy' absolutely loves these things- literally to death. I took a shot and got him a couple of more. Took about 10 minutes and he'd ripped the top ball covering off- ate the covering and about half the ball. Probably trying to get to the squeaker portion. I would highly recommend as long as your pup isn't -well- destructive. They're great toys and he loves them, but probably wont' reorder just because I don't want him ingesting the material. Will probably take the additional two I've got as backups for him (unused) to the Humane Society. Ordered him the treat kongs instead- so far (emphasis added) he hasn't been able to destroy those.
Ugh. I had such high hopes for these toys. But, alas, it was not meant to be. I got one for each of my 3 American Bully's and they LOVED them... To death... In under 30 min. I think for most dogs these toys would be perfect. I wish I had normal dogs but they are just chaos lovers :-) There is one squeaker ball and one small tennis ball sewn into this toy. The small ball might be a choking hazard for large dogs, specially if they are special and eat everything, like my boys!
So.. my Gertie who is an incredible amazing Airedale is rough on toys. She doesn’t destroy them immediately, but they don’t last if they are not well made. She loves what we call squeaka squeaka’s. I mean she loves them. I saw this and I thought yea, she will probably play with that. Gertie knows the Chewy box. When this particular box came, it had mostly grooming supplies so she was not happy. Then I said, “look there’s a new Friend!” She immediately started jumping and spinning when she saw the red toy. I squeaked it and she just lost it. I got it out for her and we played for hours. I can tell her to go get a toy and she will rummage through her basket. If I say go find Friend in moments I will hear the distinctive squeaka squeaka of this Kong toy and here she ... MoreSo.. my Gertie who is an incredible amazing Airedale is rough on toys. We don't expect dog toys to last forever, but under two minutes is a new record! We have had many Kong toys, including Wubbas, over the last year, as well as other brands (xxxx, xxxxx xxxx, etc.). Getting a couple of months of intermittent use is a price we are willing to play to entertain our son's dogs when they visit. Our last Wubba lasted several months before the fabric was chewed through. This one (a large) lasted for the time it took me to throw the packaging away in the other room. Somewhere between one and two minutes. Needless to say, neither the dog nor I was pleased. To make matters worse, even with the packaging and receipt Kong was unwilling to provide any support as we had purchased it over 60 days ago (during a sale and it had been sitting waiting ... MoreWe don't expect dog toys to last forever, but under two minutes is a new record! Our 2yo super chewing doberman LOVES all of his wubbas. He has several. They have all held up well, so when I noticed a "mega" wubba I had to get it for him. He opened it Christmas morning along with about 20 other toys and 20 bags of treats, so he was trying to play with everything all at once. However, he always made sure to keep the mega wubba within paws reach. He did puncture the big "ball" that makes up the body within 24 hours, but it still has some air and is perfect for him to chew and whip around. Despite the ball losing a little air I gave it five stars, because other than wubbas not many toys outside of the one's he receives in his Super Chewer Bark box last. So if your dog likes wubbas and even if they chew up toys, this is worth the investment.
I’m really sad for my 8 month old Great Dane, Klaus!!!! He absolutely loves this toy, but it didn’t hold up. I have tried many toys because he loves to squeak. He can only have stuffies and tug toys during the day and during playtime with myself and his Pug best friend, Yoda. But, I needed something he could have as bedtime approaches, as well, to occupy him while he winds down. He tends to think bedtime becomes his next playtime and has this end of the day burst of energy.Klaus, has medical issues (stemmed, sadly, from bad breeding,) that causes him to have to pee extremely often and in excess, so he sleeps with me so he can nose nudge me to wake me up throughout the night and take him out. He loves the toy so much that he asks for it every time so he can take it with him to potty. He squeaks it constantly while he’s peeing, then brings it back in, climbs back into bed and sleeps on it. Sadly, in the time it took me to check on my mother one night when she awoke me due to pain, he was able to chew right through the “tough” fabrics and expose the ball portion of the toy. Having to take that toy away from him was extremely hard for me. I don’t know if maybe we got one that wasn’t made correctly, because he has other toys made with the same outer material that he has not been able to tear through, but, now his favorite toy is gone with the trash man.Klaus has a Kong ball and the X large stick and chews on both without any issues, but they don’t squeak! I’m hesitant on buying and trying another one for him just to have to throw it away, but to watch him with that toy, squeaking it four times before picking it up to bring to me, taking it to pee and speaking it while doing his business, playing fetch while squeaking it as he’s returning it to me throw again, was priceless for us both. Klaus has not been attached to any other toy since this one so I’m at a loss. Buy it again, or keep searching?
