A basic, simple, but good-quality product. Just be aware that it comes in two versions, both of which carry the product code prefix 83035. One is the basic 5/8" clip and its full product code/order number is 85035-500-55. The other is exactly the same clip but it comes already fitted with a 3/8" adaptor and its full product code/order number is 85035-000-55.

Clips that hold a 3/4 inch mic are surprisingly hard to find. The Pro Audio guys at B&H recommended this clip and it was perfect. We have some older Crown mics (CM-700's) and some gooseneck mics used on lecterns we sometimes want to use on a mic stand. The K&M 85035 is a great replacement for the Crown ASA-4 clip, and is also inexpensive. Size listed at .66 to .82 (17-21 mm) - comfortable and secure fit for .75 mic shaft. Thanks B&H!

Purchased this item to use with Electrovoice RE50 microphones. I asked prior to purchase if these would work for our mics. After receiving the mic clips, we find they do not work with the RE50 microphones, the clip is too small to properly hold the mics.
This holder is made from a hard plastic with no protection inside. It won't fit a 21mm microphone without pushing hard,risking to damage or scratch the mic. My first negative review..... But it's not good.
This adapter will provide a firm fit for mic bodies with a 17-21mm diameter. I have looked high and low for quality mic clips to fit this sizing and these are beyond a doubt the best solution. Perfect as a replacement for the AKG D112. Also works great with other vintage dynamics/condensers with smaller bodies. The search is annoying. Get the K&M and be done. Solid quality. Great Price.
This clip is very rigid and is hard to get on. The material can scratch microphones. It might work well for mics on the smaller side of the range, but absolutely would not be acceptable for a mic greater than about 20mm (SM81).Anyways, this is the only K&M product I've come across that is not at least satisfactory. I recommend an alternative product
Wow! This microphone clip really works! I mean, I needed to hold my microphone and it just nailed it right out of the plastic bag it came in!But seriously, I needed this for some vintage AKG mics with skinny little bodies and sure enough, this clip holds them firm. It's flexible enough to hold any of my pencil condenser mics. 10/10!
While I have the proper shock mount and windscreen for the Sennheiser 8060 shotgun microphone occasionally I find that they are a little too bulky or cumbersome for a quick recording situation. The K&M 85035 securely holds the microphone on a stand or pole so I can capture the audio I need. Inexpensive and works well.
Both of our original Behringer C2 condenser microphone clips broke. The plastic was soft but got brittle over the years. I couldn't find replacements from Behringer. These work great. The clip holder is flexible enough to get a nice snug fit. you have to work it a bit to get it in but its gonna stay put.
