I was looking to improve my aiming on MWII, so I added these and... holy cow. It took about an hour or so to get used to so I went into the firing range on gunsmith to get comfortable with them. Once I was warmed up and used to them and hopped into WZ 2.0 with my usual crew. I'm not the best yet at WZ and I usually get 5-6 kills/game. By the end of the night I upped my average to 8-9 kills/ game. They make your movements just that much quicker and you snap onto targets that much quicker which makes a world of difference. I was in the fence about getting an upgraded custom controller but decided to give these a shot before dropping $140-150 on a custom controller. And I am so glad that I purchased these instead.

The galaxy kontrol freeks are an amazing product. At first when I was using them I thought they felt really uncomfortable, and that I wouldn't be able to get used to them. After about a week, they become natural and felt soo good. There’s no way I could go back to using the normal analog stick, the extended high rise is a must for me now. The only thing that I am truly not happy with is that, both of my grips were definitely not made with care. The purple grip seemed to be peeling off the plastic on my high rise and was barley on the analog connector. Straight out the box it was like this, I was debating on returning it and try to get one that actually has the grip but, I really wanted to try it out and I don’t regret it. The galaxys are amazing. The grip is good for the most part, the pattern caters to everyone, and it reduces the tension by a significant amount. I noticed my aim got better using the high-rise to aim. But on the other side of the coin, it made my build and edit sens feel out of control. So i went for the mid rise, and it worked well. My aim was still good, and my build sens felt controlled.Unfortunately, i have a personal problem with them. The center starts to feel greasy when I use it with my thumb in it, which makes the grip very slippery. Because of this, I can't use them effectively. I would recommend these for anyone who plays shooter games, since you get a mid rise for close range players, and a high-rise for mid-long range players.

I got the white galaxies and I love them. These are great for all types of games. My only complaint is the left one (small one) gets worn out really easy and the thumbstick grip starts to come loose and I have to super glue the grip back on, or buy a new pair.Anyways, overall they are very comfortable to play with and I definitely recommend them.

FPSFreek Galaxy PS4 and Switch ProI have found thumbstick covers to be cumbersome up until now, so I didn’t use them. However, I have a new puppy that tore off a chunk of my PS4 DualShock, so I starting shopping around. I was pretty skeptical concerning KontrolFreek’s claim about improving gameplay performance, but I’ve been converted. The rubber they use is soft and comfy, and grips just right. I have long thumbs (I actually really liked the original controller for the original Xbox), so the extension these give is very comfortable. Making the thumbstick longer also gives you higher accuracy, since it is much easier to make slighter tilts. The SCUF's man R SO incredible imma keep it 100 dont get me wrong but this set up is 4 real unbelievable & way cheaper too.
Personally, the rubber thumbsticks were not optimal for me because they caused my thumbs to get slippery, so I decided to get some extremerate hotswap thumbsticks. After that, I decided to give them to my little brother, who plays Rocket League. After trying the high-rise, he said it felt too loose and made micro-movements harder. But when he tried the mid-rise, he really liked it. He said it improved his dribbling and grip, and I noticed he went from P1D1 to P1D4 after using it for a day. So as i said in the first review, they aren't for me, but they are undeniably good, even outside of their intended genre.
I was skeptical at first. My thumbstick had come undone on my controller so I was really looking for a replacement.I got WAY more than that. These thumbstick takes a bit to get use to but once you're use to them you will never go back to traditional thumbsticks. I have some cheapo no names that I got with another purchased controller and these FPS Freek are night and day difference. They 100% do as advertised. I know they can be a bit much but after using them I would not hesitate to buy more sets.These are a game changer!! GO GET THEM!!!
