Same as other reviews below, not level, ‘wood’ bent and certainly didn’t hold up any curtains, bowed in the middle because of the awful wood and joinery and would bend until it fell down…. I tried for a week to make them work and I won’t be trying for another

Looks great, but unfortunately couldnt take the weight of my curtains. Sagged/bent as I started to hang them. I think it would only hold very light curtains. Reading reviews I found other people had same problem. Spotlight refunded me no trouble. Problem was I paid $30 to have it delivered as the online information gave dimensions as 3 metres and didnt specify that it came in smaller packaging as the rod is divided in 2 and joined in middle on assembly. My husband wasnt impressed with the joining part either.

When we opened the box the rod was clearly bent. When screwed together the bend was even more obvious. Also, the thread that holds the rod together fell out thus it was unable to joined. For $90 it was not fit for purpose and certainly did not perform as expected.

The product comes in two sections that are joined with a threaded rod. Whilst trying to join mine, the metal part in the middle that the threaded rod goes into came out and made it impossible to connect the two sections together. I had to bodgey it up with super glue and tissue paper to be able to reinsert this metal attachment and then to join the sections with the threaded rod. The curtain rod itself is made of "manufactured" wood (basically woodchip pulp and glue) not solid timber as I expected. I would not have purchased it if I had known this.
The look of this product is very nice, however, it did not come with all the parts necessary to install the brackets (was missing one of the gold attachments that connect the brackets to the wall). We ended up having to attach it to the wall a different way, only time will tell if it will hold. Bit disappointed that a product of this value is missing parts.
Bought a set of these in 250 cm length, but unfortunately they're getting returned.None of the end cuts were square to the length of the rod.This also caused the nuts to screw the two pieces together to be misaligned and when screwed together the rods had a very noticeable V shape.Sad as these looked nice in the pics.
I bought this yesterday and am in the process of putting it up. The screws are muck metal and round out even with a hand screwdriver. The rod is only just OK...but I am having to stop and replace all screws and fittings as they are such poor quality.
Trust the other bad reviews, I should have.. this rod comes in 2 pieces and is held together with a single screw in the centre… crooked and poor quality mine broke on my first attempt to screw in and I had to resort to glue. Won’t hold anything… better off using dowel. DONT BUY
Really poor quality, eyelets don’t run smoothly on them, bowed supposed to be for blockout curtains but can barely hold their own weight with no curtains, only one star for style because annoyingly, they look good. The markup on these would be enormous.
Purchased three sets of these rods and had the same issue with the mis-threaded internal screw fitting that holds the two parts of the rod together, which was inserted at an angle so the final rod has a distinct bend in it. Also, the internal screw is nowhere near thick enough to provide strength. Will need returning these ASAP.
