That said, it's a Korg, the build was straightforward and fun to do, the fit and finish of the product are of the usual Korg quality. The oscilloscope offers a variety of functions that are usually only available on much larger and far more expensive models. The book is full of artist interviews, history of synthesizers, beautiful photographs and a wide range of tips and tricks for this and other products as well as all sorts of patches. If you're new to oscilloscopes, I would definitely recommend getting the book as it gives detailed information about the various functions of the NTS-2. Bit fiddly to construct - big fingers and tiny screws. However, good fun and everything fitted perfectly without having to drill new holes in the correct place (we’ve probably all experienced having to alter and adapt things, haven’t we?).TheNTS2 is a lot more useful than I’d thought it would be, makes noodling about on a synth a lot more fun, and a lot more interesting and understandable. The display is crystal clear (which is good for an aging short sighted musician like me). Can’t think of anything negative to say about it to be honest. Wish I’d had this many years ago.
I use it to analyze synth signals and for inspiration. Thanks.
