Great board! Used all last season in Austria and Whistler. Had about 3-4 ft of POW in Austria and this board was amazing! The float camber really works and I am beyond impressed with Korua. I have a 157 and it has a 26cm waist width - with US 10 boots its perfect. I feel more than comfortable laying out deep carves. I would highly recommend! My next board will be the 159 Pencil. I'm 5'11" 185lbs with a size 10 boot and this board was a perfect fit. This board has a decent amount of camber to it and more tail than the other Korua boards which makes it super poppy. It is mid-wide which allows euro-carving without drag and additional float.I would recommend this board to someone who is used to a twin cambered board and wants something more unique for riding powder, carving and jumps. There are more powder specific boards out there for sure, but this board is versatile and something you could ride everyday.
I have been riding for a few years and I love this board so far. It is my first "new" board and it does not disappoint. It grabs real nice for carving yet I can still hit the park.
Korua is making really cool boards. I've been aware of Korua for a few years and finally decided to add one to my line up. I chose the Otto 161 because it has the most traditional shape. I'm accustomed to riding twins and the Otto is as close as Korua gets. I'm really happy with my decision... this board is stellar. It turns great, it's snappy off jumps, it works on rails if you have an affinity for steel, but most of all... it friggen destroys powder. Did I mention that I'm happy!!
