Kryptonite Keeper 785 Integrated Chain Lock

My daughter started riding her bicycle to school. She did not like how the bicycles and scooters are just put in a corral at school where anyone can walk in and take them, so I was able to get her this chain “Kryptonite Keeper 785 7 mm Chain Bicycle Lock Size 3.50 lbs” to lock up her bicycle and keep it safe. The chain is a good size where she can lock up her bicycle around the frame or wheel. The description says it is lightweight, but for a 10 year old girl it is a bit heavy. My daughter seems to be okay with that as the chain feels solid and it would be hard for someone to cut as the chain is made of hardened 3t manganese steel. That is really nice insurance as you know how kids are about misplacing things, but I hope my daughter does not lose them. So, to give your daughter, son or even you a little piece of mind, this is not a bad chain to look into and get.

Best lock I've had by far!It's very heavy duty, and would take some serious energy to break/unlock/cut.The exterior protection is great, with the chain being completely covered, and the entire lock mechanism coated with rubber & non scratch surface, allowing for long life, and no damage to whatever you choose to use this lock on.The key access point itself is "set back" from the edge of the lock, which adds protection and better weather resistance.The lock comes with 2 keys.The lock is easy to lock/unlock, with no sticking or indecision on the motion. One turn and it's unlocked/locked.The only possible weak point I can see is the actual metal "latch" inside the tumbler that encircles the chain.
