The KÜHL RADIKL PANT features a cutting-edge and patent-protected combination of an exoskeleton woven cloth frame with flexible, alternate knit panels. The result is a revolutionary pant that delivers maximum technical performance and ultimate comfort. The woven frame creates structure to give the RADIKL PANT the appearance, strength and performance of a traditional hiking pant. While the world sees structure and durability, you will feel the soft, flexible, and comfortable knit fabric panels. Located at key points of contact and flexion - crotch, yoke, front pockets, and side panel from waistband to just below the knee - the knit panels create the feel and movement of a sweat pant. The RADIKL PANT has six total pockets, including knee pockets. The left stealth knee pocket is smaller for a closer fit for your smartphone.

The best advice available for canoeing in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area is: when you arrive, put on your water shoes, and go stand in the water. Always put your feet in the water when arriving or leaving a portage. This prevents slipping on the rocks. For 16 days my pants' cuffs were wetted many times a day. These wonderful pants dried promptly. Further, they cleaned readily after hikes through muddy portages. Best of all, they showed nary a sign of wear after much rugged use.As side notes: the fit is wonderful--roomy and comfortable. The pockets hold gear well so that nothing falls out during the contortions of canoeing, building fires, and using the latrine.Wearing these pants when trekking into the BWCA is the second best advice I can give.

This is my second pair of Kuhl pants. The first pair purchased 4 years ago were much higher quality than this pair. I'm beyond disappointed in the cheaply made quality of these pants. I expected more from Khul. The materials and construction just feel cheap, like something from Walmart to be honest... The most frustrating thing about these pants is the zipper...it WILL NOT stay zipped. I've tried wearing a belt to help but it does no good. I literally have to continually zip these pants up constantly, every few minutes, which makes them useless for work or hiking... Not a $100 pair of pants by any means. Basically an overpriced pair of cheaply constructed pants that are priced based on brand name rather than quality.... These were my go to pants, but now they are ... Between 2017 and 2022 I puchased 6 pair of Kuhl Radikl, 2 pair of Kuhl Konfidant and 1 pair of Kuhl Renegade pants. They are all comfortable and stylish. I will say this, though: the workmanship on these pants is not great. I had a pair of Radikl that came apart at the seam behind the knee after I wore the pair once. Fortunately, REI let me exchange it for a new pair. I have a pair that I wore (mostly on camping trips) for a few years and the seam below the front of the knee came apart. On each of two pair, the left back pocket where I keep my wallet has a rip right where the top of the wallet sits. The biggest issue for me, though, is the that on more than half of the pairs I’ve had, the fly zipper comes down by itself. On some pair, while I’m wearing them. I ... MoreBetween 2017 and 2022 I puchased 6 pair of Kuhl Radikl, 2 pair of Kuhl Konfidant and 1 pair of Kuhl Renegade pants. I recently acquired a pair of Radikl pants in 36-34 brown Khaki color. First, the size was spot on. I am always concerned about a pre-made sizing of pants due to my height. These were a wonderful 36-34 fit for me. Previous reviewers said they ran large. Mine did not. After several washings and wearings, the size stayed intact and no color fading. They are exremely comfortable and look good on me. I have worn them not only for casual wear but when partnered with a sport coat, looked quite fitting for dressier events at one of our "classsier" restaurants here in Asheville, NC. Wore them also on a long flight with no binding issues-gentlemen you know what I mean... ahem..My wife has suggested that I buy another pair or so for comfort while traveling. I might want ... I might want another pocket if used for international travel etc. but the pants are a true winner and no real issues at all. Stylish, well-fit, and durable. Therefore my high rating and support for another of the Kuhl line of products which all seem to be great. My previously acquired Kuhl jeans have indeed become my favorites. I expect these pants will also enter that "fav" easy to put on and wear category shortly.
Picked these pants up about two years ago. Have bouldered and hiked in them quite a bit, and found them very comfortable for office work as well. However, the rear pockets deteriorated relatively quickly, have had holes in the back left pocket for almost a year now, plus a hole in the knee. However, the main issue is they separated on me at the rear middle seam. They separated by being stretched apart and separating horizontally across the left seat of the pants during a small fall climbing. I believe this was due to multiple stints in a climbing harness, and the leg loops pulling the pant legs from the seat of the pants being held by the waist section of the harness. Expected a bit more out of them, and especially expected the pockets to last longer. Normally, my ... MorePicked these pants up about two years ago. Expected a bit more out of them, and especially expected the pockets to last longer. Normally, my Kuhl stuff hangs in there quite awhile. I recognize that climbing is pretty tough on pants, so I'm still rating it a 3, and honestly, 3.5 would be closer to the mark. I wouldn't get them again for lead climbing, just can't take it. Bouldering is probably fine.
Love these pants. This is my second pair of Radikl ones and I just love them. I wear them as my go to, whether for travel or for a hike. Great comfort, good fitting, not to skinny nor to baggy. The material is handling wrinkles well, can wear them on a trip for few days in a row and they still look decent. They do not get dirty easy either. All around great pants. I’ve been wearing these pants for 10 years and they continue to be my favorite for everyday wear and for special occasions. I have multiple pairs so I can beat up some of them and keep others for dressy occasions. They are comfortable, give me a great fit at the waist, have wonderful side pockets for phone and other things, such as sunglasses, and are durable. I play golf in them, go hiking, and work in the yard. I recently referred a friend to them and he said they’re the most comfortable pants he’s ever worn. I agree!
This is my second pair of Radikls. I bought the first pair a few months ago because I couldn't find another pair of Slakrs. The first pair was so comfortable and fit so well, I had no hesitation buying another pair. They are great for hiking on days that start cool and get warm. The fabric wicks and breathes and the ventilation is great. Hiked all over Glacier & Yellowstone in one pair and wore the other pair out to dinner. Very versatile and comfortable. I'm also a big fan of the Classic fit as I find the Tapered fits of many pants too constricting around my calves. I like to wear pants, not tights.
I've been a devoted Kuhl customer for years. While this may be a slight exaggeration, I firmly believe that 80% of my wardrobe is Kuhl, including pants, shorts and shirts (long and short-sleeved).I used to buy ALL of my Kuhl gear from Cape Union Mart, but apparently Kuhl is no longer available in South Africa...where I live.I've literally worn my Kuhl gear on a trek to Timbuktu (Mali), during my cross-Africa cycle from Egypt to South Africa, while bungee jumping multiple times at Victoria Falls, and while spending time in Madagascar, Zanzibar, Mozambique, the Great Pyramids at Giza, and while driving through about 20 other African countries.I swear by my Radikl pants. They protect my legs from the sun without being too warm to wear. They're Hellishly comfortable ... I've already bought another pair. These babies are legit - breathable, lightweight, fast-drying, stretchy, comfortable, and good looking. I've worn them while doing 100 squats and 160 pushups on my morning dog-walk in cold, pre-dawn weather. I've sat in them while calling an entire baseball game from the PA Booth at Dodger Stadium on a brisk, windy night. I've gotten compliments on how Kühl they are from men and women alike. And, I know they will be my go-to for the long, hot Summer ahead. That'll be a temperature range from mid-30's to 105-degrees Fahrenheit. I hope to take them home to the mountains of the eastern Sierra very soon, where I'm sure they'll shine in the snow. I might throw away all of my other pants (not really) for these hybrid beauties that combine ... MoreI've already bought another pair.
