The Kumho Road Venture MT51 is an Extreme Off-Road Mud-Terrain Tire designed for light-trucks and SUV's and off-road vehicles. Kumho uses a cut and chip resistant tread compound with a symmetric tread pattern and wider tread block design that enhances traction in all types of off-road terrain. The tread design on the MT51 is much more-blockier than the KL71. The Road Venture MT51s side biters are improved and do a good job when rock crawling. Aired down, this tire performs very well and holds up against sidewall punctures and tears as good as some of the best mud terrain tires in its class. Deep circumferential grooves and unique ridges inside the tread grooves help in eliminating stone retention.
