I’ve since juiced apples, oranges, strawberries and raspberries, all with great success. The REVO830 was a little more expensive than some of its competitors, but in my opinion it’s worth every cent. It’s also quite quick and easy to clean.I cannot recommend this machine highly enough and I have no association with the company beyond that of an extremely satisfied customer.

The product does basic job of juicing a varieties of fruits and vegetables. I have tried carrots, celery and apples and it does well without real big issues, but a few things have been over expected from this machine.First, it is very slow, to a point after a few use, I start to see it pointless waiting for the machine to finish juicing a carrot before adding another carrot. It does feel safer and less noisy though, as it runs slowly.Secondly, it extracts much less juice compared to my fast juicer. The bulb from it is much coarser/bigger than in a fast juicer. Therefore if I touch my hands to the bulbs, I have the same "wet" feeling for both machines, but the juice coming out from a fast juicer is like at least 30% more than in my Kuvings EVO 830, meaning the ... MoreThe product does basic job of juicing a varieties of fruits and vegetables. I find "easy to clean" is a hoax on juicers. With my Kuvings EVO 830, I still have to use brush and clean the inside of the auger and the strainer (In other machines, you don't have the auger to clean, only the strainer, but the areas needed to clean on the strainer on the Kuvings is smaller than my fast juicer)Next, the machine doesn't work with large carrots!!! I encountered a few times in my carrot bunch a slightly bigger carrot and it doesn't fit in the carrot chute. The carrot chute is not very big and only works with medium size carrots, while the other chute even though bigger, it is for round things like apples and I have no way to put carrots in. In this case, I had to cut the carrot in chunks and put it in the "round thing" chute. If I had a chance, I would prefer to return my Kuving as it can do a basic job but everything else advertised about it made me over-expected. It has more waste, much slower, still hard to clean, AND many more smaller things I don't like about. Unfortunately Kuvings' policy doesn't accept return.

It took me quite a while to make my final decision. I googled up different slow juicer brands, read reviews and even went on different groups to ask for true opinions from real people. I ended up with this Kuvings whole slow juicer model B6000 in white color. So what so special about this product that makes it a better choice? First of all, Kuvings was the first company came out of a whole juicer, with its 3-inch wide feed chute, the B6000 can accommodate whole ingredients, like apples, reducing your prep time by 40%. I’ve tried apples, carrots, celeries, oranges, pineapples and soy beans, it crunched them with no problem. There is some noise but it’s bearable not too loud. Second of all, with low-speed masticating technology eliminates heat and oxidation damage for nutrient preservation, the color of the juice look very nice and the pulp is fairly dry it means you get more juice! There will a little foam on the top, just take a spoon to remove it and it’ll be ready to serve. The fresh juice tastes so delicious, no juice at the markets can compare! Another thing I love about this juicer is that from assembly to removal and cleaning is extremely easy. After taking them apart, you can rinse them under water and most of the stuff will come off then you just proceed to normal hand washing. This machine also has an extra blank strainer to create luscious sorbets and fruit ice cream if you’d like to satisfy your sweet tooth with natural ingredients. Last of all, Kuvings juicers came with 10-year limited warranty instead of 2-3 years like others. Very good durable highly recommend!

The taste of the juice is excellent and I love the variety of fruits and vegetables I can use. Doing this takes about 40 minutes of repeated trying and resting from the pains of trying to open the juicer. I'm afraid one day the juicer will break from attempts to open it when it gets stuck. On a related note, the printed open/close positions on the juicing chute has half arrow symbols for opening and closing, which are very misleading. The fine mesh in the juice strainer takes a lot of effort to scrub clean. On the first use, the bristles in the included cleaning brush started coming loose from the brush and the tamper is almost useless.

Good juicer but wish I had more information before purchase
12 October 2023

I like the juicer but I would’ve been more satisfied with it if more information was clearer prior to purchase. Examples: 1) Kuvings videos indicating the juicer was quick and easy to clean where not inline with information I read in the Kuvings manual after buying the juicer showing it is not so quick and easy. The most notable step missing (although there were others) was cleaning inside of the bowl where the manual says it must be disassembled by unscrewing the bottom cover to clean inside. 2) On the Kuvings website there is a video showing how to juice watermelon rind. This was of great interest to me. DO NOT put the following ingredients into the juicer: Hard or inedible skins. Pineapple, melon, mango, orange, etc." So, the website indicates I can do something and the manual says if I do it and I could void the warranty. All in all, it is a good juicer but I don’t like the time it takes to clean or the fact that I cannot juice melon rind which was something I was looking forward to doing. I have had the Kuvings for about a month and I am really enjoying the juice. There is some prep but the juice is relatively easy to make and taste amazing.

** THERE IS NO COURSE JUICING STRAINER AVAILABLE FOR MODEL REVO830 **I like the juicer and use it frequently, but some people not only like pulp but need it. The REVO820 has a course juicing strainer, but only as a $55 optional accessory which is another rant. This was the response I received from customer service: "While other models may have this option, the EVO830 was designed with different specifications in mind." What? The key differences between the two is the 830 has a separate feed/cutter chute and the warranty is considerably longer. I don't understand the logic of not including one with the REVO830 and think it must be to keep the 820 marketable. I'm curious now if it is an included accessory in other countries. I've seen this before with another appliance of Korean origin, where the American consumer is taken the fool.

We're Juicing it up at our placeWe are enjoying our new Kuvings REVO830 juicer. We've consuming some combinations of low sugar juices and my husband, 80 years young, a diabetic who deals with pain management due to back issues, noted a decrease in blood sugar after just a week of ingesting veggie juices in place of other snacks between meals. The juicer is easy to assemble, to use, and to clean. This purchase for us was a higher dollar purchase, and sadly, I missed an earlier promotion, but Iwas happy to see the longer term warranty (longer than other companies). We are not the most computer literate and upon request, the support team at Kuvings registered the product for me.Thus far, we are very happy regarding our Kuvings purchase, and are impressed with the REVO830 juicer and the company.

Misleading advertisement

Let me start out by saying I have three other Kuvings juicers over a span of 7 years and about ten different juicer brands (including Breville) so far in my juicing journey. My other Kuvings juicers have never broke down so I can vouch for their durability in my experience. I simply upgrade each time they have a new model come out because I juice daily. For the Cliffs Notes readers: I won’t recommend this REVO830 model because they advertise that you can stick a celery strand and the machine does the “chopping” for you. It does NOT. It more like smash and crush the strands so the machine does get stuck often and it will be hard to take the top chute and the juicing screw off because the fibers are lodged inside the unit and the various components working together ... MoreLet me start out by saying I have three other Kuvings juicers over a span of 7 years and about ten different juicer brands (including Breville) so far in my juicing journey. It does NOT. It more like smash and crush the strands so the machine does get stuck often and it will be hard to take the top chute and the juicing screw off because the fibers are lodged inside the unit and the various components working together makes it very hard to take apart to remove the celery fibers. For the price of this model, it not worth it. You still have to chop and feed in small amounts otherwise it will get stuck. My recommendation is to get the lower priced version and just chop the celery sticks into smaller 2 inch pieces. Otherwise, you will have to deal with tilting the unit completely on its side and have someone else in your household hold the unit while you wear kitchen gloves to jimmy the top chute from the bottom part of the juicer. What a pain! The only “upgrade’ to this model is it comes with a Lid Opener which helps get the chute off…but won’t help to remove the Juicing Screw from the Juicing Strainer if the celery fibers are stuck inside the unit. The machine might be a little quieter but I didn’t notice that big of a difference…certainly not worth the price if quiet is what you’re looking for. The other negative is this upgraded model doesn’t come with a strainer…the lower price model does. I called them and they confirm it doesn’t not come with a strainer. What???!!! Why wouldn’t you include a strainer but include one in the lower priced model. Who thought that was a good idea??!!! Take a look at all the foam in the juice cup. So I have to use my own strainer since it doesn’t come with one.I have used this REVO830 model for about 3 months now every single day so I waited to really have proficient knowledge about this juicer before I wrote this review.

Misleading, inconvenient and OVER PRICED!
28 November 2023

I purchased the Kuvings REVO830 on 9/30/23, it broke down on 11/14/23. I should have known and followed my instinct and returned it right after the first time I made juice. On the trial video and on what a social media influencer posted on Instagram, they make it seem like you can pretty much put all ingredients unpeeled and large. Totally misleading! The first time I made juice, I didn’t cut fruits and vegetables into small pieces. The juicer got jammed after 5 minutes and the juice came out with a lot of foam and small bits of vegetables and fruits, which it’s indicated that won’t happen with this juicer. Second attempt, I made sure to peel the ginger, turmeric, carrots, beets and everything I put into the juicer. Second attempt, I made sure to peel the ginger, turmeric, carrots, beets and everything I put into the juicer. It worked out fine but it’s incredibly inconvenient that in order to have the juicer run smoothly that I need to peel all the fruits and vegetables, which is very exasperating for the price you pay for this juicer. You’d think it’ll cut your work in half since you pay over $700+ for it. The social media influencer, Harold Leffall, even indicated that you can throw in watermelon peel into this juicer and when you open the manual it is one of the peels you are not supposed to use in this juicer. Don’t believe what influencer post, they get paid to post false information. So even though I peeled and cut all the fruits and vegetables into ver small pieces, the juicer still managed to stop working after a very short period of time. Williams Sonoma only offers 30 warranty so I had to call the manufacturer, it only took 1 hour and 12 minutes to get someone on the line so they can tell me that I need to email them a video and they will get back to me once the video is reviewed. Who knows how long this will take. I purchased this juicer through Williams Sonoma because I was under the impression that they would offer good/decent warranty considering how everything they sell is terribly expensive, I was highly mistaken! I’m out of $700+ and without a juicer. If you plan to purchase an expensive small appliance, I suggest to purchase at a store where they offer better warranty to save you the hassle of having to go through the manufacturer since it’s very slow process.
