I wanted to end my night sharing something that has been so beneficial to me. My hair has undergone so much over the last two years! I went from beautiful hip length platinum hair to broken, damaged, severely burnt hair that was literally falling off quickly over a timing error with bleach and exhaustion. I have been experimenting with this on dry hair right before bed and also on fresh clean hair that is slightly damp prior to styling and works well both ways. My hair immediately curls when wet so applying on dry hair can change the style by the morning and I prefer to use it before styling at night. I received a bottle of the 8 Hour Magic Night Serum for free from Kerastase to review for BzzAgent and it has become my new favorite product. To start with, it comes in a nice glass bottle that makes it feel luxurious. The smell is great, too, not overpowering like most scented products. The first time I tried it I didn’t do it overnight as it suggests, I showered in the morning and then applied this to damp, towel dried hair, with no other products, and let it air dry. I was so pleasantly surprised! My hair was unbelievably soft, shiny, manageable, and it really brought out my waves, in the best way. I didn’t know it could look this good. Normally when I air dry I end up just straightening it after because the wave pattern or overall shape my hair dries in (it’s very thick, coarse, wavy, and cut to jaw length) looks so bad, but this made it absolutely perfect. The next time, I tried it on damp hair at night before going to bed and woke up with very soft, shiny hair, but it had dried in an odd shape flat to my head in back and sticking out in places. I really can’t sleep with damp hair. I think that must work better for longer hair, but mine ends up looking like a ill-fitting helmet. I love it for using as a leave-in during the daytime, though, so I’ve continued to do that, and I will definitely be buying another bottle when this runs out. This stuff really is magic!

I tried it with a curling wand to see if it would effect the ability to curl my hair but my hair ended up curling just fine except it looked glossy and healthy, like I'd just left the salon.I 100% recommend this.
