Kérastase Nutritive Lait Vital 200ml

I have used this product for a decade and even though Kerastase denies changing it, they absolutely have change it--and to its detriment. It used to be a lovely light conditioner that left my hair feeling fabulous but the new formula comes out of the tube with the strangest gummy texture--nothing at all like it was before--and leaves my hair feeling greasy and dry at the same time. It is the weirdest thing that I've ever encountered. I relied on this product for years but not don't want to go near it. I have read other long-time users report the same problem and yet Kerastase denies there is a change to this product. I think it's unfortunate that they choose to throw customers under the bus. Terrible customer service!

Kerastase Nutritive works best with dry hair and scalp. It has a light iris flower scent. I got this for my boyfriend to use between treatments with the Nioxin: Scalp Recovery Kit, 1 kit . If you plop it right on your scalp, it can make your hair feel heavy or oily.

AMAZING

I was a bit wary about buying this as I’ve tried loads of expensive shampoos recently and my hair usually just goes greasy as they are too heavy. I have natural ginger fine hair but I needed something nourishing as my hair was quite dry at the ends. From the first use my hair felt amazing, so soft and smells unreal!!! I also don’t have to wash my hair as often as I did with other shampoos. It is a bit pricy but 100% worth it. You only need a small amount of each so should last a while. I will defo be repurchasing when I run out.

Does what it says

I always try and obtain a travel size of a premium brand hair shampoo or conditioner to try at home before purchasing full size products, to make sure the product suits my hair. I am pleased to say that the Keratase Nuitritive hair conditioner for normal to dry hair made my hair feel soft and nourished and easy to comb through after use. I have shoulder length hair and the product did not weigh my hair down or make it look flat and happily there was plenty of volume. My hair looked good the day after washing too.

Excellent value good all rounder

Wow what an excellent value bundle. I use several products from Kerestasse. This was my daily shampoo and conditioner for years. I only moved on as I stated to colour my hair more regularly and the greys started appearing with a vengeance. I still reach for this for a quick washed in between say after the gym etc. It’s lightweight and moisturising an excellent range especially if your hair is natural with no colour. It is colour safe but I have bleached hair prone to frizz and sometimes need more moisture and switch to other ranges. The blow dry thermo cream (not included) is a game changer though, used this for years. Highly recommend as a daily routine if your hair has no specific requirements such as oily roots, dandruff, anti frizz etc.

Great product!

I have been using keretase for awhile, different types when my hair has needed certain things. My hairdressers use keretase, which is why I started in the first place. It’s cheaper on Look Fantastic, so easy and I paid for next day for a year and it shocks me still how quick it comes! Ordered at 11pm before and it comes next day. So, firstly, I love love love look fantastic! This product has helped my hair loads. I used to full head bleach but around a year ago changed to foils and have a shadow root, I want to grow my hair more and wanted it healthier. Due to all the bleach at the start of my change in hair, my hair was quite dry and this helped loads! Horrific

This shampoo has no lather whatsoever. I would not mind it this still resulted in your hair and scalp feeling clean but unfortunately this is not the outcome. Whilst rinsing out the shampoo it sticks to clumps of my hair and gives that horrible squeaky sound. It is impossible to wash out and I have fine hair so cannot imagine the task at hand for someone with voluminous hair. This shampoo is specified for those with normal to slightly dry hair which I fall into accordingly so not sure why the shampoo is not working. I have used the cheaper branded counterparts who are owned by the same holding company with so called bad ‘sulfates’ and these tend to work better. Never again what a waste of money. Left my hair feeling like silk!

This is my favourite shampoo and conditioner. After 6-8 weeks of using it 8 noticed a huge difference in the appearance of my hair. It looks healthier and shinier. It also smells amazing. I use an average amount which I lather in my hand before applying it to my hair. Once I rinse it out I do it again but with a bead of shampoo and as the hair is already mostly clean it soaps up much better the 2nd time which makes me feel confident my hair is perfectly clean. You also need to rinse as much water out of your hair, maybe even towel it before using the conditioner. This helps the product soak into the hair leaving it much smoother!

Not worth the hype

I went with this bundle due to reviews online. I'm now questioning whether my product is actually genuine as I've had better shampoo & conditioner from the poundshop. Reviews mentioned how shiny hair was and such fantastic condition after using even once. I've now used for 3 weeks and I'm so disappointed. My hair has managed to go both dry and greasy with these products. I used to manage only washing my hair every 5 or 6 days. Now it needs washed after 2 to 3 days. It builds up very little lather even with a second shampoo and the conditioner does not detangle my hair at all. I have mid length normal coloured hair so nothing out of the ordinary. Not worth the hype in my opinion...save your money.

very happy with the whole Nutrive system!

Very Happy with this conditioner. I used it on myself and my 4yr old daughter, with thin, fine hair who is a frequent swimmer in a heavily chlorinated pool. It worked fabulous on both of our very different hair textures and I found that a little bit went a long way. Sometimes it seems no matter how much conditioner I apply, my hair just continuously drinks it up, but this seemed to be absorbing and nourishing! I loved that it didn't leave my daughters hair limp and lifeless and greasy but soft and shiny with so much bounce and body! Will be purchasing the whole system in the future and absolutely recommend!
