L'Occitane almond Supple Skin Oil 100 ml

If there's one product from L'Occitane that I could recommend to just about anyone, this is it. And not because it smells wonderful (which it does), nor for the fact that it moisturizes well, but because of the proven ingredients. This formula is 50% sweet almond oil - in itself nothing remarkable about that, but you also have 3 VERY beneficial oils in here: Sea Buckthorn, Rosehip and Carrot seed oil. This Oil is amazing. To get the best use from this product, First: apply an unscented body cream all over your body. This should be applied on damp skin when you are fresh out of the shower. Then, Apply a small amount of the oil on the entire body, you don’t need a lot of this product (1 or 2 spritzes will work). This will allow for the scent to linger on your whole body and you’ll also receive the hydrating benefits from the oil. Make sure not to lay down or anything right after application. You’ll need to give the oil 15 minutes to absorb fully into the skin, then you can go about your activities. As someone who’s been a fan of L’occitane and their products for years, I can’t recommend this product ENOUGH! 10/10 always recommend!!!!

I have never written a review on Sephora before, but I just had to with this one. My mom uses the shea oil from L'Occitane, and I tried it and loved the smell so I checked out their other oils and tried my luck with this one. Yes, the price tag is intimidating, but it really is worth it. I've tried a lot of different lotions and oils in my life, and they've all been alright... Never really noticed a difference in my skin's softness, and the fragrances were always a little lackluster or very generic smelling. This, however, even after just a few applications, left my skin the smoothest it's ever been. The smell is gorgeous... Very subtle and comforting. This has now become a staple in my skin care!!

So I’ve been using the L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil for a while… and while that did help dramatically with my dry skin. I noticed adding this in conjunction right after the shower adds SOOO MUCH MORE MOISTURIZE into my skin. Thats STAYS ALL DAY! My crepey skin has seriously become more supple and full! My 3yo daughter has super sensitive skin and sometimes will get an outbreak from such dry skin! So I’ve been adding a few drops of the skewer oil to her bath, then apply this supple oil on the most dry areas of her skin that had been affected. These products have DRASTICALLY REDUCED MY DAUGHTERS SKIN OUTBREAKS AND HAS RELIEVED MY BODY OF THE SUPER DRY SKIN! Expensive but awesome

My skin gets painfully dry in the winter. Like to the point that my clothing brushing up against my skin hurts. And a regular moisturizer just doesn't cut it. I have to moisturize like three times a day just to not itch. I turned to this amazing product after reading the great reviews for dry skin. It is literally saving my winter skin! I wish I could afford to use it year-round and just be a goddess of softness lol. But it's rather pricey for the volume you get and I doubt the bottle will last me the winter at the rate I am using it. It sinks in reasonably quick for the fact that it is an oil. It is more moisturizing then a regular straight oil and also sinks in better and makes you softer. If you are considering it for dry winter skin don't hesitate! Love the product, hate the packaging

This oil is amazing and leaves your skin silky and soft. Great for dry Alaskan winters. If they made this scent in a perfume I would buy it immediately. The only drawbacks are 1) there is no easy refill system unlike the shower oil and milk concentrate so you're buying a new glass bottle every time which seems wasteful, and 2) the spray packaging is not ideal for a slippery glass product. This used to come in a pump bottle which worked a lot better. Since they switched to a spray bottle I've dropped this bottle on the floor more times than I can count including on my foot. It hurt. Please bring back the pump bottle and create refill options for this!

Overhyped & Overpriced

Smell: A bit plastic-y and odd. Not so great & lingers. Might affect the smell of perfumes.Hydration: Doesn't do anything in terms of hydrating your skin unless you douse yourself in this and don't mind feeling oily. Stick to your regular body moisturizer and use this to give you a subtle "glow." Emphasis on subtle. Use too little, your skin remains dry. Use too much, you're a greaseball.Price: For something that hardly hydrates my skin, I don't see the need to pay a whopping $50 for this. My cold pressed organic oils from Whole Foods does a whole lot more for a fraction of the price, without feeling oily.Extremely overhyped and I can't understand why.

Please offer refills and pump instead of spray!

I really love this light oil and the delicate smell, I like using it after a shower while still wet and often use it on my hands instead of hand cream. BUT! Many people have requested refills for this product for years, you offer refills on so many other products, why not this one? It is expensive and wasteful to have to order a glass bottle each time. Others have also mentioned the spray being difficult to use with a glass bottle and prefer the pump you used to offer. I see these comments over and over in the reviews, it would be nice if you could finally make these changes. I would certainly buy it more often if you did.
