Oh this was a great choice. I really enjoy the rich tasting flavor of this espresso. It's become my favorite. I don't think I have to keep with the decaf blends as the regular blends are quite good and don't give me any problems. I'm learning that this coffee needs to be drunk slowly so you get the enjoyment of the flavor. I'm using Cool Whip in place of the milk, although, I plan to start using the Frother with milk so I can experience that enhancement. This blend didn't produce any acid in my stomach so that's why I gave acidity a 2. Actually, I think even 1 for the same reason.

The Ristretto is one of their stronger ones, with an intensity level of 11. I love a really strong Espresso, so these were right up my alley, being one of their more intense variants. The flavor is that of very bold, intensely bitter coffee deliciousness. This powerful espresso shot is sure to wake you up and keep you energized for the work day ahead. Rating: Kudos!I am a fan of 'high-end' coffee and brewing. While there are a few other ways to brew coffee "better", they generally take more time and effort (perhaps some will consider it worth it). I found common ground (see what I did there?) between great tasting coffee and the ease and convenience of making my coffee each morning. The L'Or system does the work and I get my coffee hot, fresh, and great tasting. Papau New Guinea Espresso is one of my favorites. I typically lean on lighter roasts (I don't prefer darker roasts except on special occasions) and this flavor is right on the border of being light enough. I could enrich you by sharing my experience but to sum up, it's good.

This assortment and variety of espresso is a must!!! I love the different intensity of flavors depending of the mood of the moment.I like Onyx 12 or Ristretto 11 in the morning, it's strong and give me energy to start my day.I share a milder one or (a Free Chocolate one) with my husband in the afternoon and we enjoy making it for the pleasant smell this coffee gives us, up until we degust our coffee to the final drop.This is each time a pleasureful moment in our lives.I trully recommend this brand and want to add ...you can't beat the great deals...very affordable. I love a good espresso drink with some foamed milk and a little squeeze of chocolate syrup. These L'or espresso pods paired with the L'or Barista system makes great espresso drinks and impresses my guests too! This particular blend is strong, maybe too strong for my taste on its own as a shot of espresso, but in an espresso drink, an extra splash of milk tempers it. .
