L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Coconut Shampoo 300ml

The shampoo does its job and cleans my hair. I do feel though, even with the conditioner and following up with hair oil and a mask once a week, my hair ends up feeling a bit dry after using this. The ends especially have taken a hit after I started using this set. I'm just trying to finish it before I move onto something else.

This shampoo helped repair my hair after using another shampoo and conditioner combo which not only dried my hair out but made it an arduous task just to brush out the numerous knots which formed after one wash. It took 2 washes to get my hair back to its previous condition. It smells of raw honey, vanilla and coconut milk.

Different formula?

It doesn't say it's a new formula (unlike the conditioner of this) but it feels like something has changed. Been using product for several years and left my hair gorgeous but the last bottle I bought leaves my hair feeling greasy much sooner. Combined with the rubbish new formula for the conditioner, I have switched to another brand.

Great Shampoo

Being in my late 60's now I have found that my hair has changed it's texture over the years. I have never suffered with dry hair but over the course of continuing high lighting/colouring together with blow drying and using hair straighteners every day I have found that my hair has now become fine, dry and quite dull. I saw this L'Oreal shampoo advertised early in the summer 2019 so thought I would give it a try. It has certainly made a difference to my hair it's now feeling and looking much better softer has a shine. Great product

I bought this 2 weeks ago. My hair was so dry and no conditioner seemed to make any difference. I have used this for the 2 weeks that I've had it, and I have to say that I can finally see a difference in my hair. It is slowly getting softer, and looks so much better. I would certainly recommend this

L'Oréal cherry, popped!

I had never used L'Oréal before. Thought I'd try it. Most reviews for hair care and maintenance products are normally collected after the customer has received a free sample. I'm just a newbie and I bought this for myself. I'm used to using branded shampoos but this is a new level of luxury. The washing process was amazing. I have really long hair and it's super dry. Well, It was dry. This shampoo effortlessly glided through my locks and coated each strand in a beautiful slinky gloss. I washed it out and my hair felt really healthy. The first time in a decade! I've never been so amazed with a shampoo before. It's actually now a must for my hair.

Product not as shown on website

I bought this product from boots as it described the shampoo as being for normal to dry hair, which I have purchased previously. However, when I received the shampoo it was described as being for fine,dry hair. I believe L’Oreal have changed it, but the change has not been made on the boots website.

Smells divine leaves hair super soft

I can’t believe I’ve never noticed this shampoo before. I have long, coloured hair which I have regularly cut however still trying to repair some of the damage done due to no haircut for a year, thanks to COVID. This shampoo smells divine and leaves my hair super soft without making it greasy. Once my hair is dry, it feels like I’ve been to the salon. This will be a permanent buy for me now.

Smells like Beach Holidays

I'm a sucker for shampoo's and often have about 4 on the go at once, rotating between them however this is by far the best shampoo I've used! For reference, I have medium-length hair, get oily roots at the side of my face but the ends can be dry from bleaching my hair a few years ago. At first I thought that this shampoo would make my hair greasy and look dirty quickly but quite the opposite! It's a light shampoo, keeps my hair super soft and tangle-free especially when combined with matching conditioner or hair mask. It's smells absolutely divine (not overpowering either) with the scent lasting for a few days. When you swish your hair about you can smell it's lovely coconut scent which always gets compliments. Used for 4 weeks now

At first I didnt like this shampoo its a very thick gel and takes ages to wash out also the coconut smell is a little artificial. But after 4 weeks use (the bottle lasts forever a little goes a long way!) Im converted. I have very thin frizz prone hair, gross ! It now feels thicker, looks glossier and the frizz has almost gone! Shame it produced a reaction with the previous reviewers skin, luckily I havent noticed anything like that myself. Can highly recommend
