One of the worst products I have ever used. Please, be aware the ingredients in the list here are incorrect, please use the photos at the left of the product and scroll down to see the back of the bottle photo. This product may work for someone with less dry hair than mine, but for those with dry, curly , color treated hair, it may not work for you. It left my hair feel scrubbed and stripped of moisture. I find this to be true with Loreal's entire line of shampoos and the conditioners are not any better. Loreal's former line called "VIVE", like ColorVive, etc form several years back were far superior to this new "Elvive" line. Wish they would bring those back, they worked so well.

I have fine, straight, highlighted/bleached hair. Upon first impressions, I found the shampoo to smell nice- it was a sweet and fresh scented and I liked the purple packaging. The shampoo lathers well, but I do worry about it stripping hair color, as it does contain sulfates. Since I do get my hair highlighted, I generally try to stay away from shampoos that have sulfates, so I don’t think this is great for color treated hair, but I’ll use it occasionally. I do notice that it provides some subtle volume for my fine, flat hair, which I like. I don’t notice extra shine or much hydration compared to my other shampoos. Also, my hair seems to be more easily tangled with this shampoo. Overall, I’d say this is just average.

Used for one week already, love so far! Saw this when I went to restock on shampoo and decided to try.. I've always had combination hair with very oily roots and dry ends, so some shampoos will either strip my hair or leave it too greasy. This is a perfect balance of leaving it clean and soft without stripping or over saturating it. Planning to buy again, I love the scent too! It's floral and sweet but not at all overpowering after rinsing out the product. All around a great line, definitely recommend to people with oily/dry hair like mine.

Bought the shampoo and conditioner, they're awful? Used them twice, both times right out of the shower it felt sticky? When my hair was dry it felt weird, I don't dried out, or fried, or...stiff? I have straight, not processed, 1b hair. I don't think I've ever had shampoo or conditioner do this before. Really didn't have that money to waste. Other products have been great, this was very unexpected.

I really wanted to like this shampoo after reading all of the great reviews from people who also have fine hair saying that this shampoo volumized their hair, however, sadly, that did not happen for me. This shampoo is just too moisturizing for my fine, thin hair. Pros - lovely scent, softens hair, makes hair very easy to comb through when wet, pretty purple bottle. Cons - weighed down my hair, my hair did not stay clean throughout the day, and it's just not for my hair type. I don't want to just throw it away, so I plan on using this just once a week as a repair shampoo, but it will not work for me as an every day shampoo.
Nope. This, plus the conditioner is not good for curly/wavy hair. It smells good, leaves the hair soft but it also leaves immediate buildup. My curls were flat and my hair felt like it was coated with something heavy that weighed it down. After using this and the conditioner for only one week, I had to clarify my hair twice to get the staggering amount of buildup out.
I purchased this shampoo and conditioner because, according to their commercials, it was supposed to treat dry damaged hair and make my hair feel smooth. From the very first time I used it, my hair has felt very oily, stringy and feels like I haven’t washed my hair in weeks. I’ve used L’Oreal products for years so I believed them to be a trusted brand, but after this I have doubts any other product they sell. I paid almost $6 for each bottle and I feel like it was money thrown in the trash. Please do not buy this product. Do not recommend.

For the longest, ive had to add some kind of oil to my hair after washing. my hair was dry, knotty, coming out. hurt to brush afterwards. bought this shampoo and the conditioner to try, they all say they do this or that and don't so i was skeptical. after the 1st time washing my hair with this, i was amazed. i could run my fingers through my hair while it was still wet!! i have NOT had to use anything in my hair after washing since using this!!! and i dont have nearly as much hair falling out!!!!!! i went the weekend without washing my hair and it was still soft!!!!!!!!!!! i have told a few people about it and recommended they give it a try.
