L'Oreal Men Expert Pure Charcoal Purifying Face Wash

My husband and I have tried many different face washes and face mask and other skin products. There is so so many different ones out there now days. 1 that really stands out to us is the L'Oreal Paris Pure Power Charcoal Wash . It's very inexpensive and it does the trick . So far it's our favorite one. We literally buy this one over any of the expensive big name brands any day . It truly helps .

My husband doesn’t wash his face enough and he has a "duck dynasty beard" which always has painful acne for him in his beard. I’ve bought everything I can think of for it and nothing ever worked for him! This product however, has completely minimized his acne and pores, and even in his beard! It also cleans his beard very well! Will continue getting Loreal products for him since he now actually is motivated to wash his face 2x a day since there has been enormous improvement! Highly recommend!

This isn't a traditional scrub in my opinion. What I mean by that is that it doesn't have the scrubbing beads you might be used to in other scrubs. There is certainly some kind of abrasive element (probably the charcoal) in there, but it seems to dissolve fairly quickly within a couple of seconds. Having said that...it does the job well! If you're looking for something super abrasive, this might not be for you. However, I would say that it does a great job cleaning my face and although you LITERALLY only need a pea sized amount, it foams up to a nice lather and leaves me squeaky clean.

Works well. Leaves the face feeling clean and pores open but it hurts to pull off. It dries very hard and pulls a lot. I'd recommend shaving the whole face well first and doing a thicker layer so it's easy to pull without ripping. A little goes a long way so I last awhile. I wouldn't recommend using it all the time or irritation might occur and it will dry out your skin. It has a plant-like smell to it, but not a bad smell. Takes about a min or two to dry. You can always just wash it off with warm water if the pulling is too much for you, but works best when pulled.

My husband really like product The item is the nice to use it to wash and clean his face everyday, this cleanser is amazing! Its a thick cream that foams up nicely. It is truly a deep cleanser, your skin has never felt as clean as it will until you use this. It's not drying either, which is a plus. Be warned, the green label contains menthol (think green mints!) and can be a bit stingy on the eyes. I prefer the orange label without the menthol, but if you like a bit of toning with your cleanser this is the one for you

People, Planet, Profit in equal measure please

Excellent face wash and good for my skin, but poor packaging and bad for the planet. So my face might look good and feel good, but ultimately the degraded environmental impact of the product will also destroy my face alongside the planet, but L'Oreal's shareholders will be rich, as the world decays and communities suffer the consequences of their singular profit orientated motivation to make themselves better off. My advice, buy something that respects people, planet and profit equally from a more caring and considerate organisation, like a B-Corp.
