I have been using the L’Oréal Paris Age Perfect Cell Renewal Midnight Serum for over a month now. After cleansing I apply 3-4 drops of the serum to my fingertips then gently press and then lightly massage into my skin. The midnight serum comes in a beautiful glass bottle with a squared quilted pattern of stained in black, to translucent tones at the bottom where you can see the orange coloured serum with gold finishing. It comes with a dropper as the lid to the bottle the serum, it’s scent smells sweet and lightly fragranced. The serum absorbs really well into my skin, it is lightweight, it isn’t sticky and does not leave a tacky feeling it feels really hydrating and comforting. After waking up the next morning my skin feels hydrated, refreshed and radiant and after a month of using it daily I am so pleased to have this serum and I will continue to purchase it as it works fantastically on my combination skin type and have never found a anti-ageing specific serum that I have previously used that wouldn’t make me break out and give me the anti-aging benefits but this just does that it really works.

I bought it as a xmas gift set on sale in Finland, all for 24 euros, I just had to give it a try :) I have a dry-ish fair skin prone to pigmentation, so I'm religious with my sfp and I use retinol daily. As I was using all of 3 cell renewal products I can't tell exactly which did what, but they all have similar ingredients and I guess do the same thing. Midnight serum is tingling my skin and causes a bit of redness after applying, dunno whether it's a good sign or not, but sensation goes away fairly soon. FEELS LOVELY ON SKIN

I received 7 sachets to try. I use the market leader every night so I can make good comparison of feel and application - which I have to say was excellent. Absorbed easily and let my skin feeling soft and moisturised and ready for moisturising cream. As to whether it would have any long term effects? It's impossible to say after one week. Without doubt it would leave skin soft, smooth, comfortable etc and that is good but would it have any long term effect? I honestly don't know. For me it would be a big gamble to stop using ANR in place of this. However I think I would like to use it as a morning serum as it feels good and price point is less. This does not appear to be a patented product like ANR - no track record yet - but is clearly pitching to be a close competitor - only time will tell. Price is fair at £30 and even better at £19.99 in Boots on offer at time of writing. In summary, a very lovely product to use, price is good - but would need a bit more science results or time to prove efficacy.

Got the sample, bought a bottle

So I signed up and received the sample bottle of this midnight serum. It was enough for me to try it as directed every night for 3 weeks. First I must say I do like the scent of it, a bit citrusy and not too strong. It's a nice lightweight formula that absorbs quickly and does not feel greasy or oily. I'm 49 years old and yeah I got some age a showing. I will say using this product with the revitalift moisturizure I have been using before REALLY did make my skin look and feel even better than it did with just the moisturizer alone. I hasn't erased any wrinkles, don't expect it to, but they do seem less prominent, and all the crepy parts aren't crepy. Great product, dropper for easy application

This L'Oreal Perfect Cell Renewal Midnight Serum doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. It doesn't contain Retinol...which I have an adverse reaction to. I'm happy that this eye serum does NOT contain Retinol. The eye dropper included helps for easy application. I didn't follow therecommended wrinkle preventions when I was young.....to use sunscreen and minimize sun exposure and I didn't start moisturizing til my 30's. This product may not completely reverse my previous poor decisions but it does help decrease the look of eye wrinkles, crows feet %26 droppy eye lids with nightly use. It also gets rid of dull skin and adds a soft glow. It helps moisture around my eyes...being careful not to get in my eyes. The left photo is before i started this product, the right photo is my current skin. Both without makeup. I still have acne scars, sun damage , uneven skin tone, etc. but that’s understandable because i never took care of my face. Like no spf moisturizing cleansing etc. So im just starting on skin care. And at this point im starting to repair if at all possible, and or just preventing more damage to my skin. Regarding the serum, two pea size drops on each cheek is whats needed at least for me. At first i was using to much serum because i felt like it wasn’t covering the surface enough. The trick is to use a spritzer and mist your face Before, this will aid in spreading the serum evenly. So far so good!

I've been using this serum nightly for almost a month now and I really like it. It does not irritate or burn my skin and it absorbs nicely. I use it after basic washing as well as after exfoliating treatments and I have not had any negative reactions.So far my skin is looking healthy, moisturized and has a nice glow to it. I definitely plan to re-purchase and continue using this serum for the next few months.Also, for those users complaining that the bottle runs out after month -- you only need 1 or 2 pea sized drops of this serum to cover your entire face. The 3-4 "drops" are really not necessary unless you are also applying to it your neck and chest! Try cutting back on the amount you use and your bottle will last you much longer ;)
