L'Oreal Paris Elvive Dream Lengths Shampoo 700ml

I like this product. It smells amazing. It is very low priced and does work well. However, I need to use quite a bit more product than I am used to for it to work as well as more expensive brands. I have fine hair (but lots of it!) down to my waist. I usually only use a half dollar size dollop of conditioner. I have to use a handful or more to get the same effect with this conditioner. I do let it sit 5-10 minutes while I shave my legs, etc before rinsing. I do think that this is a good substitute in a pinch for long haired ladies on a budget.

Dry ends

The smell is not good at all. It smells artificial and plastic like. It definitely makes my hair soft and tangle free. But, I’ve found my ends have been so much dryer since I tried this! I cut off 6 inches of my hair, started using this product the next day, and the ends looked dry and brittle when the day before they were thick and hydrated looking. Healthy hair should not look dry. When I cut out this product, my ends were shiny and thick again. Bummer because this leaves no tangles but not worth dry ends.

Fantastic in Every Way, but OH That Amazing Smell!

The smell of this L’Oreal great lengths shampoo and conditioner is intoxicating! It smells absolutely fabulous! The shampoo cleans well and moisturizers, and the conditioner is amazingly moisturizing. My long thick hair tangles easily and always requires additional moisturizers after my shower. Not with the shampoo and conditioner! I do not have to add any other conditioners to my hair and at least my hair very light and easy to style! Great product! Sams Club has a fantastic price as always and I hope they continue to carry it for my future purchases!

I love the Dream Lengths products!!!

I love the Dream Lengths products! Finally something that got rid of the winter dryness and static in my hair!! I have waist-length hair and the indoor heat and dry winter air had my ends super dry. Now my ends are soft and the wave is back in my hair, no more flat winter hair. I use the Elvive Dream Lengths Restoring Shampoo and the Dream Lengths Super Detangler Conditioner in the shower, then put a light amount of Dream Lengths No Haircut Cream on as a leave-in on towel-dried wet hair (on length of hair, not on scalp) before I comb my hair with a wide-tooth comb. I've been putting a little extra of the cream on my ends after combing. I use the Dream Lengths Frizz Killer Serum in the morning on dry hair to add shine (I rub a small amount between my hands then ... MoreI love the Dream Lengths products! Made my hair WORSE

My hair doesn’t feel soft after using this, in fact it feels like my natural oils are being stripped by this. I tried using as directed and after rinsing it out, I put some back in my wet hair and let it dry like that and that’s the only way I’ve gotten it to SOMEWHAT not feel so dry, damaged, and frizzy. My hair is straight but it feels coarse, frizzy, and damaged after using this. As soon as I buy another bottle of conditioner that’s another brand and type all together, this is being thrown IMMEDIATELY in the trash. Only thing I didn’t mind was the smell but it’s not a typical smell that I could see a large portion of people liking or tolerating. Save your money, buy literally anything else

Smells incredible!!!!!!!

Smells incredible! This is definitely not for people who want a little fragrance to none in their hair products. My boyfriend LOVES the smell of this because its fresh. Makes my hair soft and best of all no knots. Got the value jumbo size that will last me forever on a $4.50 sale. I bought 2 so its safe to say I'm committed to this wonder conditioner. I dont even want to use high end ones anymore because they don't smell this good and potent and thats exactly what zi want in my hair care. BONUS I recieved compliments at work on how good my hair smelled especially from the men. Just try it out!

Soft and tangle free hair but causes other issues

It makes my hair so soft. But, I’ve noticed more hair loss through shedding as well as breakage. Also, it does not make my hair shiny, it actually kind of gives it a dull and “heavy” appearance. The smell is not so great in my opinion. It smells artificial and plastic like. One awesome plus is how easily my hair detangles! Like I have literally no tangles after washing my hair. But, I can’t continue using it due to the negatives. I’ve used other L’Oréal Elvive products before and loved them but there’s just too many negatives with this shampoo.

Okay guys so the ones who are looking for reviews on this product! Idc about the negative reviews because this product right here made me change my mind about getting any other shampoo and conditioner! because of the low price I was pretty spectacle about getting this but Im glad I took my chance! it made my hair shiny and flowy which is a battle for my hair to feel this way. I have thick dry hair and a lot of products make my hair heavy and stringy sometimes like a grease ball but this product was a game changer! cheap shampoos and conditioners sometimes better are than the expensive name brand shampoos and conditioner!

I noticed that even though I have dyed my hair, it has managed to stay long and healthy. I hadn’t noticed until recently how long it’s gotten even though I dye sorta frequently. It smells so good! Lasts days. Also, leaves my hair looking soft and silky smooth! Wow! This stuff is amazing!

So, if you’re like me, you have frizzy/damaged/puffy hair with loose waves and some parts that kinda curl(that try to). I color my hair also(every 3 months) but mostly wear it straight since if I wear it any other way naturally it looked like I woke with bad bed head. I’ve been looking for a shampoo/conditioner that can make my hair keep moisture, help split ends, keep my length, and give me soft, shiny, healthy hair without breaking the bank, and well! I found it, this shampoo smells soooo good, and it leaves my hair shiny and soft! But gives me that clean I need so I don’t wash it more than I’m suppose to. Buy this!
