L'Oreal Magic Retouch spray on root concealer. OK. I generally like this product, however, I find it a bit hard to control the spray, and I ended up with too much on the area I was spraying. Could be my fault because I'm not used to using it. I think I'd like it better without that pointy nozzle thingy. It certainly covers! As I said above, I am a 4 out of 5 convinced this is a good product with coverage I could live with! The colour was a tad dark for me, but that's most likely my error also. (There's no fragrance that I noticed.)

To me, honestly, life saver. I started going grey in my early twenties (genetic, hereditary thing) and for years now I colour my hair blonde, because it's the colour that makes the grey not that visible when your roots start showing. I recently went dark blonde and really like it, but as you can imagine my roots are visible after two weeks and nowadays it's full silver grey, so it's hard to hide it. This covers it beautifully. I usually wear my hair down, so after washing, I dry it and style it and then spray the concealer spray on the visible roots. It works like magic. I let it dry for two minutes and I am ready to go. A tip: cover your forehead not to splash it on your face. It comes off easily, but it may leave red mark for a while.

I was so excited to try this as I have wanted to try a root cover up for ages especially since gaining a few more grey hairs over the past couple of years. I have really fine hair and was a bit worried that the spray would make my hair look obviously coated in product. While I couldn’t really see any residue on my hair I could definitely feel it which I didn’t really like and it also came off slightly when I touched my hair. I also felt it was difficult to use the product without getting it on my face but I think maybe this would get easier with time. Overall not my favourite product however I can see that others might really love it.
This is a really natural root touch up spray. Once dry it's sweat and rainproof - hooray, but will come off with shampoo. I used this the day before a night out and imagined dark streaks running down my forehead when I was sweating. Luckily, this did not happen and the colour stayed put. The result is matte looking so I wouldn't recommend on large sections of hair, but it's good for root touch up in between colouring your hair to cover greys or lighter roots. My hair is a 4-5 level shade and this was a good match.

I've used these before in my colour black. A friend used this. So she gave me her review. Strong smell, very chemically. Makes hair dry and like straw. Need to use a lot of product to achieve effect and cover grey. The colour can come off on clothes, and make sure you wear an overall or protect light colours. My friends thought she was ok and the product stained her jeans, as the sprays range us quite vast. Colour is ok, but a bit brassy brown, rather than golden. And coverage is a bit sparce. Not economical, and if you it regularly you'd be spending a lot of money.
What a wonderful product this is! It’s perfect for hiding my grey hair if I’m going out. I was initially apprehensive about his this would work. The nozzle gives direct coverage and it’s not messy. It dries perfectly and isn’t wet. The dark brown colour gives a natural colour to the hair and nobody can tell it’s been sprayed! I gave my hair a light brush afterwards and I’m impressed how it stays on. I highly recommend this to keep at home so if you need to leave the house or have visitors, your hair always looks lovely!
I use root concealers quite frequently now I've got those pesky greys. This shade (Black) was unsuitable for my hair, but I use the brown on int he same range and love it. It does leave your hair slightly gritty I find but I usually use this after my first wash and then find it lasts till I wash my hair again (Obviously as its temporary). Neat trick if you don't want it 'colouring your scalp and looking fake'. Use a pin tail comb and lay it across your parting as you spray. Then rub your scalp slightly along the line once you've sprayed. It helps look less fake and more natural - in my opinion. I wouldn't be without these root sprays, they really help with doing my roots in-between colouring.

You do need to be careful not to spray your face (at least in my case where I want to hide small grey areas at the very front / up by my forehead specifically), even more so if you've applied make up beforehand, as that would need some possible rubbing off. I have very sensitive and reactive (atopic skin with occasional eczema-) skin and have heard some people have reactions to hair products, but I've had no issues whatsoever here.
