L’Oréal Professionnel Serie Expert Absolut Repair Lipidium Shampoo is the best shampoo I have ever tried. It comes in a generous 300 ml bottle with a flip top lid that is very easy to open and close. The conditioner that matches this shampoo comes in a 200 ml bottle. This is great for 2 reasons. Firstly, I do use more shampoo than I do conditioner, and second, it makes it much easier to locate in the shower to know which product is which.\n\nThe product is a lovely, rich and creamy shampoo, that feels creamy, smells heavenly and feels wonderful on the hair. Even though I wash my hair daily, I sometimes still shampoo twice as it is the "proper" way to cleanse hair, therefore I tend to run out of shampoo first. It is hard to tell just how good or bad a shampoo and conditioner are until you try to dry and style it - and when I did I was blown away. My hair dried perfectly, with minimal frizz. It was smooth and shiny and felt weightless. For several days afterwards my hair hung just right - everyday was a good day! I obviously have to give credit to the conditioner as well as I only used these products together, so I can't comment on the results should you only use one. But I will definitely be repurchasing and this is likely to become a permanent staple in my collection.\n

It was now time to do the rest of my morning skin care routine.\n\nAfter gently squeezing my hair mostly dry and combing it through, I was now blessed with soft, silky, shiny and glossy hair that showed no obvious damage due to the repeated dying of it. It felt so smooth and full all day long and smelled beautiful too. What I did notice was that it left my hair really hydrated, soft, sleek and smooth. Basically gorgeous looking hair that looked really healthy and shiny. It's a wonderful shampoo but for my hair type it's not something I would use everyday. I could see myself using it once a fortnight but for dry hair you could use it everyday.

I also liked to use a deep conditioner in partnership with this shampoo.\n\nI have fine hair that tends to go limp pretty easily and this shampoo does not weigh my hair down by adding any deposits or anything like that. So those with fine - medium, normal hair would be okay with this. I can't speak for those with thick hair because I don't know but I expect this would work well with their hair too if it is damaged/brittle/dry. My hair at the roots is oily and this shampoo tackled that issue head on with no problem at all. I did find I still needed to wash my hair every day with this shampoo.\n
