I got a small free sample bottle a few months ago. The formula is nice, it's long lasting and it'll cling on for a couple of hours without any reapplications. I personally really like
the sample's triangular applicator cause it makes it easier to apply at the corners of your lips. Overall it's a good lipstick, it might just be bit drying (at least in my opinion.)... Show more

I received a free sample of this L’Oréal Rouge Signature Parisian Sunset Matte Colored Ink in the shade I Choose (440) on National Lipstick Day... The color is a beautiful darker rosy pink, it’s bright vivid without being too “in your face”, y’know? The applicator is interesting, like a large flat triangle instead of the typical doe foot,... At first I was a little thrown off by it when I first opened my sample, but as I used the tip to outline my lips, I realized how genius the design of the applicator really was. I was able to very precisely line my lips with the saturated color and then fill them in easily with the flat part of the applicator. As for the longevity, this lip product does transfer, but it’s minimal. I appreciated how even though this is a matte lip ... I unfortunately wasn't a massive fan of this product. It has everything you would probably want in a lip colour, except that it transfers so easily. It glides on smoothly, and is so lightweight, which is surprising for how highly pigmented it is! But for me I found it quite a messy formula. It dries down from liquid to matte. I think I should consider buying this product a second time🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️... Show more

Disappointed with the opacity

This is an lipstick and the colour I bought is actually a very flattering shade (116 explore) for my olive/medium skin tone - I’m around a MAC NC40. However, the lipstick just isn’t dark enough to show up on my lips as it’s so thin and I have to apply a few layers to get a colour payoff and then it ends up looking heavy and crusty on my lips. It doesn’t last long at all and takes ages to dry down and isn’t transfer proof either. The shape of the applicator is good though but I doubt I’d be repurchasing it - it’s just disappointing as the colour looked so good.... Show more

It's fine, lasts long... Though it's not for beginners. I'd rather take the 09 or pinkish one, which does last for hours on, wears out nicely and matches every eyeshadow, base and teeth color posible. This one displays all marks you might have on the lip and getting the right amount of pigment on it is difficult. It also tints the lip.... Show more

This is a nice gloss, not a lot of shine but just enough 'tackiness' on the lips to last a good few hrs, mine is a light shade so i usually wear it under/over darker lippies to lighten them up a bit. Good value for money.... Show more
