L’Oréal Paris Elvive Anti-Brassiness Purple Shampoo 200ml

I thought that this shampoo was extremely effective in removing brassiness for my blonde highlighted hair. I found that it deleted the yellow and orange tones and made my hair a coolish, natural looking clean blonde. I loved the pleasant fragrance of this shampoo. I found that it lathered up well which I consider important as it makes me feel that I have washed my hair properly. I found that this product made my hair very shiny especially when combined with the use of the conditioner. I normally use salon toning shampoo as I've found in the past that the drugstore ones don't tone my hair as well. I find that they don't reduce too much brassiness and don't leave me with ashy hair but I was really surprised with this. The purple shampoo is dark enough to help neutralise orange tones without turning my hair purple. I did find that I had to apply it for longer than my salon shampoos to get the same result. I like the convenience of being able to pick this up at Priceline, rather than having to go to a salon to purchase it as well as it being half the price. The only drawback I found with this was that it does have a strong fragrance. If you are sensitive to scents, then I would skip this. I liked the packaging. L’Oréal Paris Elvive Colour Protect Anti-Brassiness Purple Shampoo is a wonderful shampoo for any coloured or chemically treated hair. The shampoo lathers so well, and really does give the hair and scalp a very good clean. One wash is enough, unless my hair hadn't been washed for over 3 days, then I washed twice. The results were great, no brassiness in sight and my colour was healthy looking once again, even after just one wash. My blonde hair was gently and effectively cleansed, the tones were great and I will definitely buy this shampoo again. It's great value and so good you can buy it at the supermarket. Just as good as products with a much higher price tag!

I used both the L'Oreal Paris Elvive purple shampoo & conditioner in conjunction with one another and they worked beautifully together! So , about the shampoo. As I have quite thick hair, I normally have to use quite a lot of product but this was not the case with this shampoo as it lathered up really well and was easy to spread through my hair. I followed all instructions and left it in for the recommended 3 minutes & followed up with the L’Oréal Paris Elvive Colour Protect Anti-Brassiness Conditioner . After the first use it had almost completely removed the brassiness! My hair looks a lot fresher, fells super soft and smells absolutely amazing! I was very excited to try this product as my hairdresser recommends the L’Oréal Paris Elvive Colour Protect range. I used the L’Oréal Paris Elvive Colour Protect Anti-Brassiness Purple Shampoo and Conditioner on my fine blonde highlighted hair that hadn't been coloured in 4 months and I was really pleasantly surprised at how much it reduced the yellowness of my hair! This time I had a greasy build up of hair on the back of my head. Cancels out brassiness very well

I found that my blue hair was becoming green due to my hair becoming brassy (yellow and blue makes green). So I bought this to combat the green coming through. It has helped my hair maintain a vibrant blue. I use it with the purple conditioner as well.
