So far, this cc cream satisfies all of my requirements. This product in the tan shade is buildable, smooths my skin, gives it a glow, protects me from the sun's harmful rays and never emphasizes my pores or wrinkles. This foundation is enriched with hyaluronic acid to improve skin quality which I am looking for, I usually have hyaluronic acid serum to plum and keep my skin healthy. I am happy with this foundation as all comes in one. I love the texture and feeling of the new formula. It is very moisturizing and flattering. Trying to match my old shade has been tricky. I used to use 2N so it recommended 2.5N in the new formula but it was too pale for my skin. I bought 3N thinking it would be perfect but it was significantly darker and didn’t work. I’m mixing them right now but I hope I can find the right shade eventually.
I was not happy to see that my go to foundation had changed after years of happy use, but thought I would get the (supposed) match to my color which was N1. When I got home, it was very clear that the colors were completely different, but since I was devoted to this foundation, I thought I would try to mix what was left of my old bottle with the new shade and then gradually transition.While the mix lasted, it seemed to work ok, but as soon as I had to transition to the new foundation alone, I noticed I stated getting dry patches on my face, and particularly in the corners of my eyes. It actually reminded me of when I took Accutane years ago to clear up my acne. So very very drying! And when I try to gently remove the dry skin, it is red and raw underneath. So I am ... Terrible changing of the product. I was in love with the original foundation and had been buying it for 2 years. And now they changed it??? What used to be a dream product with the perfect shade, consistency, and natural look is a joke. It’s oily, not natural looking, and these new shades are ridiculous. I used to wear the shade N5.5 perfect beige and it’s not even an option to try and see your new shade!! This was L’oréal’s biggest mistake. I cant believe I won’t be able to get an amazing product anymore. This is the worst “improvement” of a product. Why they changed it I don’t know. I’m begging. Please change it back!!! I got this product to try for free from Topbox.I applied it around lunch time. It worked well over my sunscreen and also by itself.I used my fingers then a blending sponge. Was very easy to apply and get even coverage.It covered my redness completely. The finish is a bit matte but still looks natural. I liked that it is not cakey. It didn't feel drying, great for winter.This is the best matching foundation I have right now, others I have used were too pink or yellow. It lasted till nighttime without flaking or getting patchy.I also liked that there is no scent, as some scents irritate my skin.#freeproduct #trywithtopbox
Let me preface this review by saying I love this foundation! I received it in shade 0.75N Pearl, and at a glance I thought it was going to be too light for my skin tone. However, it really is true match...the foundation blended out beautifully and I wasn’t left with any visible lines around my jaw bones or neck. It also never oxidized AT ALL, which is a huge plus. I also think it is pretty buildable, if you are looking for more coverage but want to avoid a cakey face.I also love that this formula contains hyaluronic acid. I am in my 30’s and this makeup didn’t settle into my fine lines or crows feet after a full days wear.I received this #freeproduct in exchange for my honest review, but will certainly repurchase!
I received this product from Topbox Circle in exchange for my honest review. I found the shade match worked really well. It is super blendable and did not seem to be drying at all. It absorbed well and left a natural look. I do believe the hyaluronic acid helps to maintain that moisture. I do notice a difference in my skin from just a few weeks of application. The pump applicator works well and did not disappoint. The only reason this product lost a star for me is just the fact that I like a full coverage foundation and I found the coverage a little too sheer for my liking. Loreal…listen to the feedback. I have used true match since it came out. The new shades are terrible compared to the original. My previous shade was in the cool range 3C. Your chart converts that to Rose Peach? Ick. The new packaging is wasteful. What a shame. Do not recommend.
