La Costena Green Mexican Salsa, 475 G

Authentic Mexican flavour with minmal ingredients and no artificial flavors. I like it better then then other brands because of this. I try to buy products that have ingredients I can read. Just a little goes a long way. Perfect for dips and marinades. I usually add it to meat and vegetables when I am cooking my fillings for fajitas, burrtios or nachos. Hands down this is my favourite salsa! It packs a punch and tastes so good! It is available at Walmart, Metro, Fortinos and Food Basics! Get it today!!

This salsa was so good! I was a little iffy about purchasing due to all green salsas are loaded with tomatillo and gives the salsa a vinegar sour taste which I really don’t care for. But nope it was more like what I hoped for! Green jalapeño and or serranos flavor very good and taste homemade! I added it to my beans for my chalupas ! They were delicious ! Will definitely buy this salsa again ! I recommend it !

Best green chili sauce I’ve found

The best-tasting green chili sauce we’ve found, and I’ve tried a bunch of them.I use this sauce for making pork chilaquiles - I roast a pork shoulder, then pull enough meat to feed the family. Put it in a saucepan with some of the roasting juices or broth, add the green chili sauce, and simmer until very tender. Then I add a handful of medium cheddar cheese and stir til it melts.Meanwhile I quarter fresh tortillas and fry them up. To serve, put chips in a bowl, crush them a little. Put a handful of shredded cheese on top, then ladle on the pork and green chili sauce. Top with a dollop of sour cream and some chopped onions and cilantro if desired. Delicious, punchy salsa. Expensive but unbeatable.

This salsa is delicious. Expensive, mainly because it'll be gone as soon as you open it, but easily the best I've tasted. It's fresh, chunky, spicy and packed full of flavour. Can't recommend it enough.

Fabulous! Mixes well with Greek yogurt for a mild dip for chips!

The Best!

This salsa is our favorite. It has the right flavor. No vinegar, no smoke flavor, good amount of spice. I use this to make a lazy enchilada sauce by mixing it with Mexican crema and then topping spinach enchiladas with it. So good!

Worth the time to write this.

I'm writing this because of how surprised I am to have finished a bottle of this in such a short time! I started using in when I ran out of my frozen green chili (until the next harvest). It's a good substitute for eating on cheese crisps.

I ordered this by mistake. I wanted the la costena RED mexican salsa.The green is OK just not what i was looking for.I requested that the order be canceled but it was not.I expect i will use the green as an ingredient when i make green chili sometime.
