La Mer The Eye Concentrate 3ml, Mini Tube Size | Skin Care

I love the texture of this eye concentrate. The formula is very light weight and gentle.I took pictures to compare the difference between my eyes before I applied the concentrate vs how it looked 5 mins and 10+ minutes after and you can clearly see the improvement in the appearance of fine lines! By the pictures you can also notice a decrease in puffiness and smoother skin texture.I then applied to the second eye area and noticed the improvement as well. No lie, it works but take pics so you can compare.Definitely impressed as other products I’ve tried that target fine lines typically do not work for me. Definitely recommend this eye concentrate.Please note that I did not use it for dark circles therefore I cannot comment on its effectiveness on that.

I don’t understand why La Mer’s eye concentrate cream has anything less than stellar reviews. I first tried the mini size to make sure it would be worth the admittedly insane price tag, and I noticed a difference around my whole eye area before even finishing that tiny jar (which, sadly, doesn’t come with the massager tool that the regular size includes—or, at least, it didn’t when I tried the mini a few years ago).Tip for getting the most out of this (actually all) eye cream: stop using so much. But amongst those other well-known and equally expensive (if not more so) options, the La Mer eye concentrate cream without question holds its own.Cons:- as other reviews mention, the scent is a little odd, at least at first. A little more….planty? maybe? than the regular Crème de La Mer scent (or most other La Mer products of varying consistencies). Just more *there* in general than the scent of the Crème or the other La Mer moisturizers. (But it’s not, FWIW, like the scent of the Replenishing Oil Exfoliator, which has its own -unique- scent distinct from the rest of the line’s products…. In case anyone considering the eye concentrate cream is familiar with the exfoliator..)- obviously the cost, but again, you can try the (slightly more affordable) mini version first and that jar will still last a substantial amount of time—enough to decide if the product is working for you, in any case.

Allergic

This eye cream didn't help me with one thing- circles, pigmentation, lines, dryness, anything. In fact, it made my undereyes darker and I needed to use more concealer to cover them up and spend more time on my makeup routine. The worsst part was that it made them swollen and puffy (which could have contributed to the dark shadows). I thought I had an environmental allergy until I stopped using the product and my eyes swelled down right away. The feel of the cream is super light weight, it's almost like water. First allergic reaction of my life

I’ve been using La Mer products for over a decade. One of my favourite products was The Eye Concentrate. Unfortunately, my latest experience with the eye concentrate (reformulated in 2020-21?) has left me with a very painful allergic reaction. I never had an allergic reaction to any skincare products before, so this was shocking and extremely disappointing to see that despite alarming reports and reviews for 2 years, La Mer still hasn’t acknowledged the issue.Consistency is different, too: more watery and yellow. Nothing too special for me

After using this product for 2 weeks, I'm not overly impressed. I have president dark circles and frankly haven't found any product that helps with them, so I went in not expecting much anyway. I noticed no change in dark circles, but slight improvement in puffiness and fine lines. I do like that this product is a little thinner than some creams, which allows it to spread smoothly without tugging the skin, and makes a little bit go a long way. It has a pleasant "green" scent that's very light, and it did not both my eyes or skin at all. Some eye creams run into my eyes and cause burning, singing, and watering - I had none of these issues with The Eye Concentrate. Overall it's just ok. Severe Allergic Reaction!

I am a doctor, and very concerned about this product's ingredients. I, myself, have developed severe allergic reaction on multiple occasions after using it. Both eyelids and undereye. immediate contact dermatitis, burn, eczema in crease lines! alongside with redness and swollen that lasted for over 3 days. Be aware. I looked through multiple websites that sells it and went through the comments. A huge proportion of people are complaining of allergic reaction. It's weird to be that with many comments, there is no message explaining the next steps on monitoring and examining the cause behind these side effects. I looked into the clinical trial (it only had very small sample size!!) so external validity is poor and no generalizability.
