La Prairie is a luxury brand and I love the brand but not all of their products. This essence is one of my eye care routines right now. I paired it with their eye cream and it works well. It helps me fight with my fine lines and keep my eye area hydrated for the whole day/night. The moisture level is better than any of other eye creams I have ever tried. I have dark cycles too but I did not see that much of difference for this part. Sometimes my eye area is sensative but I never have problem with la prairie so far. This bottle is small and I am almost done with it and will repurchase soon!

In the cold months I impulsively add this to everything. Please do your wallet a favor and don’t take my advice! Im 32 acne prone , light combo skin that absolutely hates fragrance. Yet I really don’t run into problems with this. Most of the caviar line screws me up if I don’t add some sort of acne fighting acid or purification component

This is an exceptionally good (fluid) eye gel that visibly firms the eye area and hydrates well. I can easily use it alone in the summer months without the need of an additional eye cream. It contains some excellent humectants and cell-communicating ingredients along with a polymer that visibly lifts the area the product is applied to. I find it more hydrating and more elegant than La Mer The Eye Gel. Will definitely be buying again.

I do not use this essence on its own. I like to layer it with their eye lift cream. So the effect that I get is from them both I believe.This is when you want to say that a little goes a long way. One bottle will last you at least a year with twice a day use.The product is almost watery lightweight, you do not feel it on your skin a few seconds after applying. It leaves no stickiness.I have been using it for a few years. And I notice the difference now more and more. My skin looks better than it did at my twenties. I lost a couple of fine lines in the corners of my eyes, the rest look way smaller. Shallower if you can call it this way. 15 years using it confirms it.

I have been using this product for 15 years and it is the best choice I have made when it comes to beauty care products. I simply do not look my age. I barely have wrinkles in my eyes. Some say it is genetics, maybe, but this product has definitely helped, and paired with a sunblock routine, has really helped in keeping age away. You dont need to use too much. I spreads easily. If apply before makeup, wait about 15-20 min otherwise you would see a difference in tones from the eyes and the rest areas of the face. At least in my experience. I most definitely recommend this product.

Dry eyelids no more!

This was my first time using a La Prairie product and I think I’m in love. Since chemo my eyelids have been dry and any eye moisturizer I used would help alleviate the dryness but would irritate my eyes. This product leaves them moisturized and soft yet doesn’t cause eye irritation. It’s so concentrated yet fluid and one drop is enough for both eyes. Thank you La Prairie. I look forward to trying other products from the La Prairie line.

Have noticed a difference...

Expensive it is, and from a contents (somewhat basic ingredients) point of view: definitely overpriced! But surprisingly enough I have seen some benefits in only the first weeks' use, despite the lack of anything innovative in here. I apply roughly 1 drop of this gel-serum for each eye area, pat in with my finger until it's roughly absorbed and then follow with my eye cream and SPF. On its own (which I trialed for a few days prior to using both) it had an 'awakening' effect (whilst applied), making my eye area look more rested and like I'd had a good nights sleep (that'll be the day!), but wasn't hydrating enough for me. Using under an eye cream, I get an even better effect - more hydration plus the cream seems to sink in better. Holy Grail for visibly lifting the eye area

Have used this essence on and off for years, and having used many other different brands, there is no comparison with the La Prairie Essence of Skin Caviar Eye Complex. This essence visibly lifts my eye area and keeps fine lines and early signs of crepiness at bay. Will continue to purchase for life.

Hydrating

I wouldn’t tell anyone to buy this product unless you want to treat yourself. There are hundreds of products very similar for a third of the price that do the exact same thing. I purchased this eye essence as a treat and it worked great. My eyes felt hydrated and my skin felt bouncy. It lasted 8 months as you only need 1 drop between both eyes twice daily. The texture isn’t as watery as you’d think more like a serum.
