I have sensitive, acne prone skin, but have been thinking more about preventative skin care. I have been hesitant to try any overnight masks since they are normally heavy and cause breakouts for me, but this La Prairie Lux mask is a game changer. The product itself is on the thinner side, but not oily. It goes on incredibly smooth and soaks in very quick (none of this is getting lost on the pillow). The first time I tried the mask, I woke up and my skin already felt softer and after a week of using the product, I feel like my skin is more supple. I am really enjoying the results and feel that this product is a good investment for those thinking about protecting and maintaining their skin!

I ended up ordering a full size of it and upon receiving it the texture of the mask is gelatinous and VERY thick (chunky-like), not like the samples I tried which were very smooth and silky. Ok, weird. Regardless I have been using it occasionally alongside the La Prairie Skin Caviar Essence and Absolute Filler. It’s not bad at all, however it doesn’t hold up to the other Skin Caviar line of products in my opinion, but again it’s not bad to substitute in once or twice a week (Might as well use it!). Full disclosure- I’m obsessed with mostly everything LP, so you rarely get many complaints out of me. I’m 39 with combination skin and use the LP skin caviar line exclusively. I use this mask at night after cleansing, toning, applying essence, and serum. It glides on evenly and doesn’t feel at all like a heavy mask.The packaging and heavy glass container (and giant brush that is included) is obnoxious and impractical, as expected. The container is identical to my LP luxe cream. I do not use the brush, and I’m not sure who would unless they were painting the mask onto a 4 foot canvas.All of this being said, my skin feels divine when I wake up in the morning. It is a great addition to my LP skincare routine. I love this mask and use it almost every day.

This product I put on at night after a shower. I usually have issues with scents or products making my face very greasy. This I had no issue with either.The scent was very light but perfumey yet elegant enough to not give me a headache.The mask lotion was so smooth and soft like almost nothing I’ve ever touched before.However once I put it on it was like peeling and flaking away and some skin as I rubbed it on more and more and started to touch my face which was odd.I left it on over night, came back to the next morning and my face was like it was completely dried after a wash - it wasn’t greasy, a little dirty feeling like it would be all day or slept on. It was soft and hydrated.I can only image long term results!I would recommend
The La Prairie Skin Caviar Luxe Sleep Mask, is just overall amazing. I will start with the packaging first, it is sleek, beautiful and appealing. The product has an amazing light, clean and fresh scent but, not to overwhelming. I like my creams with some fragrance but, not too much and this has just the perfect blend. The cream is luxurious in its' texture. It is rich and creamy, it goes onto your skin smoothly and blends so well. It isn't greasy or oily. My skin felt energized and soft immediately nut, most impressive is how I looked and felt the next morning. My skin felt relaxed, soft, smooth and looked better. I love this product and will continue using. It is a great overnight mask.
