This was sent as a trial. Easy to use pump bottle, no screw tops to drop in the sand. It is not a spray as it still needs spreading to cover the skin. The cream is a single cream consistency which rubs into the skin very easily. I have not tried it under tropical sun but would expect a La Roche Posay product to live up to its 50+ claim. In uk it works very well. My only negative is that it leaves a very slight tackiness which would be good protection at the beach against wind and sea but for daily home use is not as appealing. As i have yet to find a daily suncream with high uv factor which is not slightly tacky then i should not expect this one to be any different. Better to feel safe from uv damage. Excellent sun cream, really good for my little one and me. Spray is handy and hasn’t clogged up. I have very sensitive skin as does my child and we have had no reaction from this. Used this during the recent very hot weather and our skin stayed sunburn free. Liked how light it felt and wasn’t too sticky, it also rubbed in well into the skin.

I'm overall happy with this. It applies easily and provides good coverage. It's quite moisturizing too and very water resistant. Love the fact it doesn't leave a white cast on dark skin!! I don't like how it looks quite greasy and takes a while to absorb fully. The main reason I bought this was for the family to use on a day at the seaside. The sand-resistant claim and fact that it was twice the price of other brands made me think it it would live up to this claim. It DIDN'T. The sand stuck fast to all of us >=[Would buy again but definitely not for a day at the beach!

Sun protection is very important to me, so I am always on the look-out for a reliable body sunscreen. Sadly, most of the ones I have tried in the past (brands lie Piz Buin, Banana Boat, Soltan, etc.) suffer from greasy feeling, white streaks, collecting at skin folds (e.g. behind your knees/elbows, neck lines, etc.), some discolour car seats, others stain your clothes, etc.The Pros of this sunscreen are that it avoids all of the above-mentioned issues, which has been great.The only Cons I could identify are that it is not necessarily travel-friendly, if you are going on a long walk and would need to reapply. This is a great sunscreen. I really like La Roche-Posay sunscreens and find that they always protect my skin really well. I have pale skin and can burn quite easily but have never had any issues while wearing this product. I have taken a star off as it is a little bit heavier on the skin than I would like (the SPF50 that they sell in the spray bottle is much better from that point of view).
Struggle with sunscreen for children with allergies and although this didn't help 100% an our sons eczema did come out it took a lot longer than normal a wasn't anywhere near as bad as previous holidays. Always a build up of sun cream/chlorine/food etc whilst away. But we ran out whilst away an I bought a generic brand that said it was allergy safe an the difference in a day both children were covered in rash an my daughters face had swollen up we were in Cyprus an managed to find a pharmacy that stocked this to rebuy. Would recommend to others who are sensitive to suncream
After trying many children’s sun creams/ sprays. I found this product easy to apply with good coverage and long lasting protection. It really does work well in water. Only downside for me is it does stain light coloured clothing.
Right across the bottle it states invisible spray!! It is not invisible spray in fact when sprayed it’s just like a bottle of lotion suncream. My child has sensory issues and don’t like cream suncream and due to medical condition he has to wear it daily! So not only did I have a very upset child but I’m upset that this is falsely advertised and I’m now out of pocket! You could say it’s invisible when you rub it into the skin but isn’t all suncream invisible When you correctly rub it into the skin. Disappointed is an understatement at what usually is a good brand
If it wasn’t for the fact this SPF stains light clothing really badly I would’ve awarded it five stars. It dispenses well and is quick to absorb into the skin. The coverage feels light but thorough. But, as I said both this and the adult version have ruined a number of white items in particular, despite me being very careful with the application and waiting for it to absorb before dressing my daughter. I’ll find a cleaning hack to try and salvage the stained items but I think they’re probably too much even for lemon juice and bicarbonate!!!
