I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this as I have been looking for a decent high SPF moisturiser for some time.The cream itself it quite thick and it smells nice. As it's tinted, it does appear very dark but can blend it.What I dislike about this is that you need to use a fair amount in order to cover your face. Complexion Amazing

This product was recommended by my friend's dermotologist because I suffer with outbreaks of acne related rosacea during summer months. I have used it for about nine months. Initially I was using the product without the tint - but I think I now prefer the tinted version - although both work equally well. I was having problems with a sunspot on my left cheek which was becomining darker and larger especially in the summer months. The spot has now halved and virtually disappeared which has saved me thousands on laser treatment. I will continue to use this product forever !

Does not burn eyes and good with makeup

This spf wears nicely in the sun, it doesn’t burn my eyes or run in them, wears well under medium coverage makeup intended for outdoor tourism. I did accidentally glob it in my eye and then it stung, but I think that’s to be expected. I really have sensitive eyes and I like this spf. I wear body lotion on my neck and chest. This is a small package so I like to make it last and only use it on my face.

Excellent for Sun Senitivity

I have been suffering from sun sensitivity/allergy for a couple of years and am under the treatment of a specialist who recommended this cream. Sun exposure causes me to get acne like symptoms on my face and chest. I have been in a hot climate for 2 weeks and have hardly any symptoms. I also have eczema and generally sensitive skin and have no issues at all. Highly recommended.

Good sun protection for dry of very dry skin

I bought this as a sun block in the cold weather. The cream is thick as others have said so will seal the skin. It says above use on dry skin or very dry skin. I did not read that bit. It does not say this on the packaging. A little goes a long way. Has a sun tan fragrance. Have combination skin so do not know if this product would be too heavy. I will let you know what it is like after a few days use.

Great Tinted Sunscreen

La Roche Posay make great quality products & this one is no different. The tint is perfect for me, enough to get a nice glow without looking orange. I also like the fact that I got a decent size sample of another La Roche Posay moisturiser which I will soon buy full size!

Not for me

The description of this product by La Roche -Posay sounded perfect for me.I have used their 50SPF sunblock before, and been very happy. However, when my skin became very dry I decided to find another SPF50 sunblock in their range, which was more suitable for dry skin. Its subtle tint providing a fresh looking glow came out very orange & highlighted previous sun damage on my face. This product may be suitable for those with a more olive/darker skin tone. However, with my lighter skin tone it was unsuitable. I am still searching for the right product. I need a SPF50 sunblock for pale dry skin which subtly masks previous sun damage & allows for hydration.

too orange for my NC20 skin

I got this after reading so many positive reviews here and elsewhere online, but it turned out to be hard to work with.The cream is too orange for my NC20 skin. I need to blend it very very carefully so as not to leave orange streaks on my face. Once blended in, it makes me look slightly darker.Also, it 'fights' with my face cream so I end up rubbing orange stuff off my face as I try to blend it in.I'm sure if works well as a sunscreen, and the price is very reasonable. But as a pre-foundation sunscreen/tinted cream, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone that's NC20 or lighter.Regret buying it, and now I don't know what to do with it. I will go back to my Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Sun Defense SPF50. Pity!
