I feel for the people who bought this eye cream after reading all the fake comments like I did.I have tried all ways to make this cream work for me, now finally it’s the time to give up, write a review and save others !This isn’t a cream to be honest, it’s a thick rubbery paste which doesn’t absorb into the skin, create a white cast when you try to massage it and ultimately it pills into clumps/balls !Absolutely shocked with the LRP’s quality of this aweful product !P.S. I haven’t been an avid user of eye creams up until now, finding them either too oily, piling under make up or sometimes even causing puffiness. I can honestly say that I am converted after using this product. It sits beautifully under make up, absorbs quickly and has definitely softened the fine lines around my eyes. There was no residue and no piling of foundation or concealers. You only need a small amount, so the tube goes a long way. I used both morning and evening as part of my daily skincare routine, over toner and under my regular moisturiser and LRP sunscreen. I would definitely recommend. I used it for about two weeks then started to notice a visible difference. It hydrated the skin around my eyes and my skin appeared brighter.

Not a large amount of cream must be warmed up between the fingers, and then applied to the skin of the eyelids, otherwise it is poorly applied. The cream perfectly moisturizes and nourishes the skin, removes the effect of tired eyes, smoothes the relief under the eyes, removes fine wrinkles, retouches creases in the corner of the eye.

I use eye creams good for eye sensitivity, because if I don't, my eyes get dry, flaky, irritated/itchy and inflamed, and also the skin above my eyes (eyelids) and under my eyes (where we get dark circles and wrinkles) swell up. This eye cream helps with all these issues, and you wouldn't even notice that my eyes suffer from all these issues. It's not irritating in the slightest, so I would recommend 100% to anyone that suffers with similar issues, or that simply prefers an eye cream with no aromatics. The only reason I gave this eye cream 4 stars instead of 5 is the texture and the way it feels on the skin; it feels medicinal and sometimes leaves a bit of residue on the skin, so personally I prefer to use it only on the night time before going to sleep.
You can really feel the cream working! My skin felt softer and tighter whilst being pleasant on the skin. I noticed a brightness under my eyes which really helped dark circles and smoothed fine lines.Upon first application, I found the cream a little dry and that it left a residue. However, after further use this disappeared and the cream was a smooth and rich texture. At times I found the cream a little too heavy but overall this outweighed the positive benefits and I'll continue to use this product.
After using this morning and night for just over a week I can really see a difference. Normally this time of year with the cold weather I have dry tender skin around my eyes and I find it really difficult to find anything which is not harsh to my sensitive skin and will actually do what I need it to do. This has been a revelation! It goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly after one smooth over, with no rubbing or waiting time needed. The added bonus is that my under eyes, or rather my under eye fine lines are starting to smooth out too! I'm loving using this and adding it to my daily routine.
I have been after a decent eye cream for ages so was looking forward to this arriving. The consistency is thicker than I was expecting so it doesn’t glide on but needs gentle patting around the eye area... you only need a tiny bit so I think the tube will last ages and prove to be good value for money. The cream sinks in effortlessly and does really seem to smooth out the fine lines. It has a slight tint to it which blurs any blemishes or dark circles and provides a great matt finish.My eyes seem to be sensitive to most creams but this caused no irritation whatsoever and I have been using it morning and night for the last week. It is probably too soon to decide on the long term effects but overall I am very pleased.
This cream is VERY thick, which makes it hard to spread. In addition, it sits on top of the skin and doesn't really absorb, leaving a white flaky residue. You can't put anything on top (such as concealer) otherwise the cream rubs off and leaves white chunks all over your face.I will finish this tube up only at night time because of the white residue. I love La Roche Porsay and use several of their items, but I don't recommend this eye cream. I prefer and highly recommend the La Roche Porsay Hydraphase Intense Eyes instead as it's very moisturizing, feels very refreshing and is very absorbent!
I don't have an issue with my undereye area but wanted a product to prevent future problems. This product after 6 weeks left my undereye skin very crepey with visual signs of dehydration. I was very surprised as the hyaluronic acid is supposed to plump and hydrate but I was always looking tired. La Roche have great reviews and so I persevered for 3 months but on this occasion this product didn't work for me.
Ok, we cannot reverse completely the signs of ageing nor do we all have the most amazing lifestyle but the hyaluronic acid eye cream delivers on all fronts! The area around my eyes is firmer, plumper, I don’t look like I haven’t slept in 10 years and with daily use alongside other products from La Roche Posay I can see a difference and most importantly for a 41 year old not a single wrinkle yet. Plus the tiny bit of tint on the cream gives it a mattifying concealer effect which I personally find effective. Use daily and don’t expect overnight miracles but it does do exactly what it’s designed for!
