I've been using this for several months now and am absolutely blown away by it! I have very dry sensitive skin and have tried so many different body oils and washes, many that are okay but this stuff is just on a whole different level. I find it leaves my skin really velvety soft and without a trace of dryness, even to the point that I've stopped needing to use body lotion, I'm literally smooth and soft enough without it, something I never in a million years thought would ever apply to my skin. Iâve been using this product for over 3 months now and it really helps me to achieve that âcleanâ feel that I desire from washing my face.The main reason that I havenât given it 5 stars is the smell. I have a very sensitive nose and although the scent doesnât really stay around after washing the product off, the perfume is just too much.It also doesnât lather easily. I usually like to only use about 2 drops for my whole face and neck (itâs more than enough, especially as I double cleanse with the Effaclar purifying foaming gel) I barely get a lather though. I only see one if I use more.

This product is great for the whole family. I mainly use it as a gentle body cleanser but it works well as a face cleanser. It's so reasonably priced that I use it everyday myself and gentle enough for my grandchildren when they come to stay.

Not the traditional cleansing oil I was expecting. Still very hydrating for a gel type cleanser. Recommend as a cleanser, not as a first step in a double cleanser though.
Generally I love La Roche-Posay products. However this one, though it performs well, has a smell to it that I do not really think is good. Their products are normally kind for the skin and do not contain artificial ingredients and perfumes, but this one has a not so nice scent about it. I'm wondering if it is a bit old and containing oil, the oil has kind of aged with a bit of taint. Possibly not, however I have not come across anything like this with any other LaRoche Posay product I have ever used. Namely the shower gel(s), body moisturiser, facial moisturiser and sun block(s) products. All of which I use daily.
Great price for a really great product. Both my sons have sensitive skin and this is perfect for them (whilst also getting rid of the âactive teenage boyâ smell.). It foams up whilst being so moisturising and doesnât have any overpowering scent. Love that I can always find this available at Activeskin and arrives super fast and well-packed to avoid spillage.
My partner and I usually share bottles of a LâOccitane almond shower oil.I thought this might be a replacement that would save us a bit of money.This is an effective, gentle body wash. It is more of a gel than an oil texture. It is fragranced with something a bit floral but reasonably neutral.The skin on my body is normal type, but after using LâOccitane for several years itâs very used to very gentle cleansers.This was therefore not gentle enough for me. After rinsing this away my skin feels a little tight and itchy. I do think if you were changing to this from a regular shower gel you would find this an improvement even if in my own circumstances I did not.Weâll be sticking to the LâOccitane in our household.
If the product had been called a "foaming cleansing oil", I'd have known it wasn't what I was looking for and gone for something different. It works quite nicely as a moisture-protecting foaming body wash, but it has quite a strong perfume and isn't nice to use on my face at all.
I love using oils to melt my makeup before I was it off with a cleanser and wanted to try something new as my other previous one (Palmers) was irritating my eyes. It is not a traditional oil, it lathers up, which traditional oils don't. Still, it is more moisturising than just double cleansing with a straight cleanser, so I like it for that... it also does not irritate my eyes or skin at all, so it's gentle. It is a great price for a huge bottle so I probably will repurchase.
I have really sensitive skin so does my daughter. And this product is so mild yet really cleans your skin. It's not drying and I've used it on my skin with I've had dermatitis and it soothed it
