I’ve been using this product for almost 2 years for my son’s eczema and it’s literally changed our lives. He went from severe eczema that landed him in the hospital, to having almost perfectly clear skin 99% of the time thanks in part to this particular product. If I could give it 100 stars I would. However, the packaging/bottle/functionality needs some major work. I would estimate that I’ve purchased no less than 20 bottles of this product over the last 2 years since we apply it for him twice a day, and every single bottle without fail is the same. The pump works completely fine until you get down to about half the bottle and then you cannot pump anymore of the product out. You have to remove the pump, invert the bottle, and force the product to the top, then ... At which point the product is exposed to the air and starts to dry out, as well as exposing the product to bacteria from your hands. As this would be highly inconvenient for anyone, having to do this while applying it to a toddler who will not sit still and all things must be done with a quickness, this is almost an impossible feat and beyond inconvenient. I implore you to PLEASE listen to your customers as I have seen this same review dozens and dozens of times, please change the packaging of this product. You have an amazing formula on your hands in the completely wrong functioning bottle. My family spends approximately $65 on your products per month between the Cicaplast Baume, cleansing oil, and this lotion. I am a busy, working mom of 2 and I don’t want to have to find another product to use for my sons eczema, but I cannot keep using this lotion if the packaging doesn’t change.

Overall, I will be using this religiously for the time being until my face gets under control, and I am interested in looking for a lighter, daytime moisturizer by this brand for when my face doesn't need such a rich formula. I never write reviews for things, but I really hope this helps someone because I wish I could've read this myself when I was at my wits end and didn't know what to do! I included the first photo, what my face looked like when I woke up around 10 am today and I was freaking out and in pain, what my face looked like 5 minutes after putting on the moisturizing cream in the Ulta bathroom right after I purchased it (still in my car outside the store lol) at around 11:30am, and what it currently looks like at 3pm after also applying the Honest brand ointment, which I'm using as a safer alternative to vaseline/aquaphor to lock in the moisturizer when my face is this bad. I truly hope this helps someone!!!

Would never buy again for that reason alone, but also because this brand is NOT CLEAN, CRUELTY-FREE, VEGAN.Also, I was told when purchased that the brand is sustainable and cruelty-free and does not test on animals. NOT TRUE AT ALL. I was not in the best headspace since my skin was screaming due to a rash when I was shopping, but I specifically said that I do not use anything that isn't vegan and cruelty-free. They sell in mainland China, where it is required by law to test products on animals to sell there. They are NOT certified clean or cruelty-free because of this. I'm really mad that I let that slip through and upset that Ulta never did due diligence on which brands are, in fact, clean beauty. Do your research before shopping for clean beauty here or go somewhere else, where they actually check things like this.

I am 45, have dry, sensitive, rosacea, acne prone/hormonal acne prone skin. I have tried a few LRP facial creams and they did not work…this was the last one I reached for and I LOVE IT!! My face feels so good and hydrated. My face looks clear and glows. The product is thick so I only use a pump and do the 13 dot technique. This does NOT irritate or break me out. I absolutely love the ingredients and use this on neck, arms, and chest as well. I have tried so many products from LRP to La Mer ($15-$300) and this one really is perfect and affordable. I wish I was able to buy the medium and small travel size in the stores vs having to order online as I like to keep those on hand in a gym or travel bag. I wish it came in a 400ml refill pouch (I’d probably just use it from the pouch), or even a 400ml tube that stands on its base. I keep purchasing the 400ml pump because no other product comes close, but I end up having to unscrew and use the tube to fish around for product, then water it down in hopes that a little more will come up the pump. Remember, not so much that you actually kink the straw. Just work the curve a bit, warm it, work it, warm it, work it until you have a bit of a curve. Voila!This bend should allow you to use almost all of the lotion! In fact, I used this recycled "straw" over and over and over some more, before my diligent husband recycled my last empty bottle before I removed my "straw". : ( I will definitely do this trick again - when the right straw comes along . . .3. I have used a good solid bread knife to saw through the bottle. Once I have an opening, a good pair of scissors or shears makes it a quick job and accessible.
